My recommendation for brass boots is to wear them everyday, all day for a month straight. The heaviness will not go away (if that bothers you) but the stiffness will break in, especially since it’s deer hide
Gorgeous boots, congrats! That leather is amazing. And, I've never seen any leather, not even predator orange, have that much pullup! Your video is a must see for those considering this boot model, leather and fit info.
FWIW I just bought a pair of Brass Boots in the black cxl with a wedged sole and I had to go down 1.5 sizes from brannock for a snug fit. I have 8 pairs of GS’s on the Leo last and a pair of these on the Floyd last. I could’ve went with a full size down but I knew it would be too big so I ordered an 8.5D which fit like a glove. One thing I love about GS is their clicking. Out of the 9 pairs I have only one had some weird grain going on but that’s ok because it’s on the shaft of the boots. These are perfect.
@@boots_4_me Grant stone makes some amazing boots for a really good price. I only have this one pair. And they wrap those boots in so you can get a nice unboxing experience also. Not my last pair I can say
I've never worn a moc toe on anything but actual moccasins, I think these look pretty good especially after you squatted down in them Edit: I want a belt with that leather..

@@waxedearth5425 I’m used to break in heavier boots, so I guess that would be fine. I’m really curious to see how the leather will change over time

@@rickc4317 Thanks man. I think this leather something special, probably a little underrated I guess

Nice to see you trying out other brands, not everyone can afford pnw boots and these boots look awesome!
@@frankkitajima4339 They look very good, and it’s a good price
I just bought these too. Hows the patina now that you've had them for a few weeks?
Man it must be really cold out there for VSC to freeze up into clumps. Damn!
@@EDHBlvd Lol. Never seen that before huh?
18 F. Pretty nippy but not crazy cold. 🙂
@ it’s not that cold yet, but that time will come
@@qltyboots It's been -13C here this year, warmer now but like you said, that time will come. 🙂
Kool leather, love to see them after a few months wear.
