You really need to group them. The buff (middle one) makes it so that every damage dealt is aoe damage. The center of the aoe is the enemy that got the damage in the first place.
So once you group them close enough all of them will receive 50% of the damage done to the initial target.

I was looking forward to this event a lot! Not being able to use your own hero makes this F2P friendly, and dare I say the smarter player might win and not the richer player. But there will probably be a way to pay your way to the top anyhow
Edit: Nvm you can use heroes from your roster, but looks like they will all have no signature item/engraving/furniture. Still can't wait to test this event out once it hits live

skriath, tamrus, eiron good for first section. Hodkin fear, Mehira charm good for making enemies face away for second section (idk who else does that well). haven't done 3rd section yet. fun event so far, just don't waste resources since they're finite. play around with formations and add a hero that'll fit the debuff requirements for each section!

Quick question to everyone: is seraphic tide (an artifact specific to supports, the one that bounces heals or damage to allies/enemies a couple times the first 2 ults) any good? Like, is it used for *anything?* it doesnt seem to be worth it when i read its'description.
