I've never really thought The One and Hypnotic Poison smelled that similar. I have gone through multiple bottles of both and still wear them both. I've always found The One much more floral. I feel they both lean oriental, rather than gourmand, despite their sweetness. There is something less traditionally literal to them both than the typical designer gourmand. But that's my humble opinion, lol. Thank you for bringing this new one to our attention! Can't wait to try it!

I have never smelled similarities between hypnotic poison and The One.... I used to love The One but got tired of it. I'm curious about this one. 🤔 I'm also extremely bored with flankers.
I don't find that The One and Hypnotic Poison are similar at all. Hypnotic Poison is intoxicating and very almondy whereas
The One has a completely different composition. I guess everyone is different. You look beautiful as always.

I have it from one week. It's really classy, feminine smell and I also can not stop smelling it. About the performance I am agree it could be more, but still not bad. I was wearing it on New Years party and I got compliments. It's definitely a good one!
I love this new fragrance. I have worn The One original for a long time and loved it. I like the gold even better. I get compliments all the time one this fragrance.
Oh how funny! To me, the original The One is super daytime and a very average, ladylike, white floral. I'm a gourmand lover so I REALLY love The Only One with those coffee and caramel notes! It reminds me of a slightly lighter Black Opium (no patch & licorice). I'm actually writing about both of these on my blog this week (spotlight on citrus/jasmine/vanilla fragrances). Looking forward to trying this new one, it sounds really nice! As always, love your reviews and info! 💖
Theres nothing similar between Hypnotic Poison and The One, IMO.
Recently tried this new Gold version and yeah it’s definitely a plum and patchouli bomb. If you aren’t a fan of patchouli I’d avoid this one. The opening was interesting but really enjoyed the dry down.
Love the intro today jumping right in! The Only One is one of my favorites but I struggled with it at first because of that cloying intensity. Finally figured out that if I sprayed it everywhere except my chest and neck that I got that delicious, light, coconut, vanilla smell (I can see how you could get HP from that) that everyone seems to love. It’s light and airy if you wear it starting at your stomach🤷🏽♀️. It actually always gives me beach, creamy, coconut sunscreen vibes but I’ve worn it every season, at every time of day, and it always gets compliments. Excited to smell this new one because of your review so thank you! Not crazy about the new bottle though. I like the original better but maybe the scent will be a new favorite😊
I've not smelled any of THE ONE's, but I totally resonate with your comment about spraying perfumes on different body parts to get different results. Some that smell good on my forearms smell unpleasant or cloying on my pulse points. For example, last night at bedtime I sprayed just one wrist with a strong fragrance, and it turned into a lovely light bedtime scent that lasted all night long. But others do smell best on my pulse points. I haven't tried spraying my stomach yet, but now you've given me even more ideas! 😎
@@waywardstitch8604 haha the stomach’s where it’s at😂 it really does work though the spraying different fragrances further from your face if it’s too strong! So glad I’m not the only lunatic out here spraying my belly button with La vie est Belle L’eclat

I agree with you about hypnotic poison wore it for years but stopped because after a few hours I couldn't take the smell couldn't wait to wash it off. I have not tried this new DG but I will. Love your videos and all of your perfume reviews 😍
I love The one and The Only one range. From The One i bought the EDT. I do not know how different it is from the EDP but i love it. I will test The One Gold.

For a split second, I thought this is premier by Gucci which is one of my fav ( it’s also in a golden package) and in my opinion a hidden gem. I have hypnotic poison and it’s definitely a beast perfume when it comes to lasting and silage. A little goes a long way otherwise it causes headache ( I normally love dose myself with good smelling perfume, but never this one) would love to sniff this perfume

I bought The Only One Intense last year and bought The One Gold this week, and I really love both.
Tempted to try and find samples of The One, as your description makes it sound very appealing.
The problem I have with D&G perfumes is that the lasting and projection, at least on me, are not good, i'm curious about this one tho', the bottle is just like Gucci Premier

It seems as though they kept the plum but skipped out the peach. Then the pachouli added and traded out the Vetiver. I don’t see any similarities to Hypnotic poison either.

Hi ☺️ thanks for another vid. This one did not sit quite right for me unfortunately. Lucky wallet 🙈 the OG is so feminine that this one turned more masculine and patchouli did not sit quite right for me either...🤔 I'm not the biggest on that note. The OG disappear after 3 hours, still a lovely scent. Somehow reminds me of the candy crocodiles 😂 🤩
I have one with coffee and intense, love them.
I like it but I think it doesn't perform well. The dry down is very classy and mature without being boring.

Soki I watch all your videos this doesn't have to do with the one..but didnt know how to get a message to you..back in the day I wore Boucheron..thought it was gone..I see original bottle online.also a large round with blue cap.Is that it? I see original bottle does that mean I would be buying old as in no longer good expired?Or should I get newer bottle and scent still the same?I have not seen either in a store?

Is that the edp or intense bottle? I have a Dolce and Gabbana The one EDP in a limited edition gold bottle. So weird how they made the newest The one Gold EDP in the bottle they had used for the special edition bottle The One Edp.

I smelled the original The One a couple days ago and I did not get any of those notes 😭 I didn’t know what the notes were when I first smelled it, and it smelled so awful to me. Like grandma perfume, but not the kind you can appreciate for older women like Chanel & Estée Lauder. I was surprised when I saw the notes because it didn’t smell anything like what was listed 😂 It was awful.

I can’t stand the one or only one. They are so cloying to me. Too strong.
Its not long lasting and according to me i wasted my money … if u like strong fragrances dont buy this one
