In my internship centre, majority of degree COs were even better than The MOs . They shouldn't loose hope, you can start an hospital where you can showcase your worth!
for clinical medicine if she'd have done a diploma in clinical medicine and then specialize in either pediatrics, reproductive health etc she'd have been marketable
The intervewed ladies seem to have ill information and lack of proper research on what they wanted in life, you dont go to school only for govt employments and huge salar
Seriously C'mon MKU why why now please this should be followed to the letter..... GOOD JOB KTN for educating the masses on this crooks shame on you MKU I feel the pain of those graduates
This seems to be the equivalent of Physician Assistant in other countries. Perhaps the name change should be made so it's clear to all who apply. Physician Assistants aren't going to be doctors after graduation. They are not doctors
Clinical medicine is a good career,, have never regretted doing it ,, in Any career we got people tarmarcking ,, its all bout aggressiveness, passion, competency confidence and luck,, In the field that you are.
Dr mercy korir is only interested in putting down COs,but you dont win by putting others down, there are Drs who arent employed and they tarmacking whats different.
Mercy Korir, a real medical officer attends to the sick, you turning into a 'journalist' and using the platform to air a documentary that is off the course is wanting. A CO is a CO, but can't be an 'almost doctor'..that tittle in itself is totally off the grid and demeaning to many people like myself who legitimately have ripped big, and extended the gratitude of my success as a CO to the less fortunate in the community. I think this was totally off because Mercy isn't a journalist. People should stick to what they were trained to do..
For an educational institution to offer an unrecognized degree, and creating a dead end for the students, is despicable, painful, thuggery and should be punished. Magoha Kazi kwako!
But clinical med is a recognized course. I think this is a case of miscommunication. The ladies expectef to be doctors ,yet they did not train to be doctors.
My mother wanted me to study this clinical officer job. I refused. She was sooo obsessed thinking after i graduated it would be milk and honey. Only to later on watch this video and realize how mothers have it sooo wrong interms of careers for ther kids
CLINICAL MEDICINE IS ONE OF THE BEST COURSE....I operate a Hospital currently... what are you saying 🤣...🙏🙏🙏🙏🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪💕💕💞💞💞💞

Normally it's even called clinical medicine and surgery
Was considering going to clinical medicine but on seeing this video I don't think so
The way KTN talked about COs looks so spiteful 🚮
veterinary Doctors also not easy

The ministry of education should wake up. There's a mess that must be solved in some academic institutions like Mount Kenya university!

Take things the way they are and don't dwell in titles
