That Luma is freakin' adorable
Pretty much the ideal ending for a Mario style game. Though I do still prefer the first SMG's ending for the fact that the story does contain a lot more essence than other Mario games. This game was still kind of a job well done though, I would basically call this the actual sequel to SM64 in terms of atmosphere and gameplay.

Those were the days when games were actually FINISHED. DLCs just scream “we forgot to add this portion of the game in so pay for this single piece of content even though it should’ve already been in the game from the beginning.”

When I saw the comet come up, I was confused about what it was doing, then when the observatory showed up and with the good old music of Comet Observatory 3, I felt so much emotions seeing my old base again, untouched by that black hole it was being sucked into, and seeing Rosalina again was definitely something I should’ve guessed would happen, but you know what? I’ll take the surprise.
Goodbye Rosalina! Its 2 bad u only made 3 Mario series appearances. But its was so nice 2 c u! RIP Rosie!

i love how he talks about the huge cake like in the beginning of the game
this is easily one of my favorite endings to a game ever. getting to play little trunkaded sections of galaxys with the amazing song playing in the background
Actually, she appeared in Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii (unlock able) Galaxy 2, (unlock able), and Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D World as unlock able. Complete World Star-2 and you can unlock Rosalina.
While SMG1 had a better ending story, SMG2 felt more like "the end".

Not as good as Mario Galaxy's 1 ending, but I can live with it. Honestly though, Mario Galaxy 1 feels a whole lot better than 2. The first one had a dynamic plot and had a lot of sad parts, while in Galaxy 2, there's not a lot of that at all
1 has better story and i prefer the observatory more than the spaceship, but the gameplay and maybe even the stages themselves are improved
After all this shit,the only thing Peach had to do was bake a damn cake,and She would have been saved in no time

I honestly never liked this game since they removed rosalina but this ending was pretty fun to watch and playing in the credits was fun too :P
