They're wouldn't be any human remains, it's been too long and that plane is deeper than the Titanic. If Amelia was trapped inside she wouldn't have survived the pressure of being that deep
The wings are angled different but that could be b/c of the angle the plane is sitting on the bottom. If the nose is angled down into the sand more with the tail a little up, it could cause the wings to look angled more as they are in the underwater image. @alimeldes If it is her plane, there’s always a possibility her remains could be in there but I imagine they’d need better pics of the wreckage before they’d venture to guess if she might’ve made it out alive or not & of course they’d need to see inside & around the wreckage to know for sure. But, I would say from what we can see from the sonar images of the wreckage, the plane appears to be pretty intact overall (w/some piece or something lying within close vicinity of the main wreckage) which would make me lean towards she could’ve survived the actual crash landing itself.
Me too! This is a sham though. They found the shape of somewhat of s plane on sonar. Jesus Christ have some more proof before going to the news. Also the wings on the Electra do not look similar.
I dunno... The radar image clearly shows a swept-wing design, but the Lockheed Electra 10e doesn't have swept wings. Clearly it's a plane though. Can't wait to see what it is!
They found her again? Wow! There was thing in the 1940's called WW2. A lot of aircraft went down in the area of the Gilbert and Marshall islands. Many were long range search planes of both American and Japanese origin. Bring up the plane and lets see if this her plane or not.

@Bpn575 Dude, it is not against your mom. It is against the no sense coment of the journalist. When you said that she replicated, it means that she also crashed.
I bet if the newest generation Amelia Earhart checked the genealogy again now (since things have drastically changed since 2014 & the research & accuracy in generations further back) that she would probably find out she was related to the original Amelia Earhart!! This was a great little clip on the new discovery!!
It could’ve rolled & flipped as it sunk to the ocean floor so it would be hard to determine the direction accurately. I thought the same thing you did about it looking like she may have entered water nose first, but after thinking about it & being somewhat familiar with boats & cars that have sunk, I changed my mind. The plane appears intact for the most part & if it is indeed Amelia’s plane then the wings are angled different in the sonar. The wings could appear at a different angle if the plane is sitting on the ocean floor with the nose down first & the rest of the plane angled slightly upward (which would make u think that’s how the plane landed as well, nose first). But, the plane is extremely deep on the ocean floor & it would’ve flipped & turned as it was sinking to the bottom. If the plane was pretty much intact & If I’m figuring the weights & balances correctly, it likely would’ve sunk to the bottom nose first, fairly flat across the plane if weights on both wings were equal which is how this plane appears to have come to rest on the bottom. Once the nose hit the ocean floor, the nose would’ve pushed down into the sand some from the impact of weight & the mass of the plane hitting the ocean floor. The rest of the plane would’ve remained w/the tail end angled up slightly but most of the body of the plane probable would’ve settled onto the Sandy bottom as much as it could over the years. You can’t really see the nose in the images & with the wings appearing to be angled differently than Amelia’s plane, I would imagine if this is her plane, that would be exactly how it would’ve ended up looking when it reached the ocean floor if she had made a decent water crash landing with the plane remaining pretty much intact. So I think it’s likely this plane probably landed with its nose slightly up but the nose is buried in the sand on the ocean floor with the plane angled slightly due to how it sunk. There is that little object or piece of the plane lying near the initial wreckage. I’m curious what that is. That plane had the cockpit covers that lifted up if I remember correctly. It’s possible, that could be one of those cockpit covers judging by the size of it. If the cockpit cover was opened after the crash landing & they were able to escape & the cockpit cover was open when the plane sunk, it could’ve easily come off & separated as the plane sunk but pretty much stayed with the wreckage as it sunk or it came off near the very end or over time in the water since it’s so close to the main wreckage.
@@rebeccamireles31 I don’t know about the smart part but thank you. I grew up on an island in the Chesapeake Bay & have lived around the water most of my life. I’ve spent a lot of time on boats & have seen quite a few objects that have sunk into the Bay or River or other bodies of water. I also spent many years as a volunteer Firefighter & EMT so I have seen several cars, boats, motorcycles (& even an airplane), etc that have ended up on the bottom of a body of water. I do read a lot too nowadays but most of my knowledge is just from firsthand experience. Thank u for the kind comments though!!
When are you going to cover DB Cooper story and other old cases? Because there is nothing else imporant in the country? You effing Daily Mail/The Hill tabloid network. Most boring person on news is Dan Abrams.
Sweet, beautiful and interesting guest.....living her best life thanks Dan! 😊
They made a Star Trek Voyager episode with Earhart in it and I enjoyed that episode.
Episode "The 37's'
I heard there might be her notes and such in the plane , but what about Her???
The wings on the plane are angled different, but I have hope!

@@dickbiggerjr3613 thanks, I didn’t realize!

@@HokieJuju thanks you so much for the helpful information! 😁
She’s definitely had some teeth bleaching done; that’s for sure.
Always been interested in this story

The title of the video is confusing
Yes it is. I was so confused
She is absolutely adorable.
She's my mom 🙄

As long as she doesn't replicate the landing.

Wherever she may be in davey jones' locker, let her rest in peace. Same for titanic, and mh370 or Wherever that malaysian missing plane went
Funny how one person may have found a plane and know everything's about a mere air heart
Great story, great guests, thanks Dan.
Damn she's gorgeous
Stop it!! She's my mom😡
Did she replicate? She is also dead?😅😅😅
Wait what?!! She's my mom!! If would were nicer she would kiss your nose!! You missed your opportunity buster!!

Uuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh well i wouldnt .. well never mind.
This title had me so confused…
Don't shoot the gun it hasn't been ID yet .
11 million dollar trip??
Hmmmm...that's one expensive trip

What about the airplane front end first was still the ongoing way they may have missed landing the front end first into the water engine" first
