Thank you for your tips and advice. I have been doing car audio since before high school over 11 years ago, my wife's Sentra had me pulling my hair out. I appreciate everything!
The remote turn on didn’t work on my amp got any hints why it didn’t work ? I also tried the blue wire on my metra loc from AutoZone and also no signal
So since you used the other line out converter, which didn't have the remote turn on feature, you wired a remote wire to the fuse yeah? And if you used the LP7-2 you'd just use that remote turn on yeah?
Not this LOC, but if you wanted one that turned on your amp for you, go with the Pac LP7-2 that has a feature to turn on your amp when it detects audio.
So my car is different I have red and white/(maybe yellow or just discolored) right rear, on left rear I have blue and yellow cannot find a wiring diagram anywhere
I have a powered subwoofer that I’m going to be installing in my 2018 Sentra the process is the two rear speakers your talking about and get them wired into a line out converter so you can hook up your rcas to that
@@colejohnson4530 I just got some powered subs last week made by Pioneer. Bought all the stuff like RCA converter and all that ill let you know how the install goes today. (2016 Nissan Sentra, so no factory amp.)
Just curious. The bundle of wires that is going into the grommet under the steering wheel. What do those go to? I probably wouldn't want to break them while making the hole.
Which fuse is the best fuse to have it in? My amps killed my battery had to get a jump and I unplugged my amp car never died since. But I want to use my subs again lol need help bro
If your battery is being drained by your amp, either there is an issue with your amp not shutting down, or your wiring is an issue. Hard to diagnose without seeing it in person. The power wire fuse rating should be determined by the type of wire used, gauge, length or run, and amperage drawn.
i tried mounting my remote to my brake pedal switch to start up the car, problem is, amp will not turn off unless i pull the fuse.. what other fuse can i run it to?
Don't wire your remote to the brake pedal witch. Go to the fuse box and find switch power, and use an add-a-circuit. A multi-meter will be your friend in your install.
Yep, however, it may get a little tricky with wiring the 4 channels. Generally we build Radio T-harnesses to minimize any damage to the factory wiring.
@@ProvoBeastAudio Okay thank you! I am looking to install a Kenwood X802-5, this amp has speaker level inputs, would there be a reason to add a line out converter then? Also I am having difficulty finding a T-Harness. Is the "LPHNI03" by Pac Audio what I'm looking for?
@@ProvoBeastAudio I'm also thinking about adding in a component system but this car has the tweeters in the a pillar. I can't see myself running a wire from the woofer in the door to the tweeter. Are the component systems that have a simple crossover at the tweeter so I could still use the stock wires? I guess I could also find where the stock headunit wires split to the tweeter and woofer as well and mount the crossover there. Help! Haha
Parts used linked in the description of the video!
Where did you find or get the amp mount?
@@1crzytav We made it. But here is a plastic sheet if you wanted to make one yourself: amzn.to/3YvpTdT
Just finished the install on my son's 2018 Sentra. This video made hooking things up a simple and painless task THANK YOU.

could you tell us the highest volume with no distortion on the factory radio
What this fuse on the fusebox to connect a remote signal on the amplifier ?
Wait! so no need to connect anything to the factory radio? You tapped into the 6X9s and that works just fine? Wow, im impressed.
I did a similar install in a Hyundai veloster. Worked perfect.
Line out converter
That's what a LOC does

How much clearance was there under the seat
Will this work the same way for 2024 Nissan Sentra
Will it work if I have an aftermarket Bluetooth transmitter plugged into to where you would have the aux cord?
I have a 2013 nissan sentra can someone help me out what size speakers i need to buy how many
The LOC should have had a 5th wire for the remote. But the fuse box works too.
Not this LOC, but if you wanted one that turned on your amp for you, go with the Pac LP7-2 that has a feature to turn on your amp when it detects audio.
Yo bro maybe u can help me Wil this work on 2017 nissan alitima?
Sure, technique will be very similar.
So my car is different I have red and white/(maybe yellow or just discolored) right rear, on left rear I have blue and yellow cannot find a wiring diagram anywhere
Does this also still apply for 2022 sentras?
The technique, yes. The body style changes in 2020 so it won't be identical.
Why did you tap into both rear speakers instead of just one
I believe it has to do with pulling both left and right channels into the sub
@@RealMACGamer ohh okay make sense I thought you did it because it would make it louder or something.
I did similar installation. Now my sub is buzzing after I turn car off. Do these sentra have some kind of noise canceling system?
Does this work for Nissan Altima 2019 as well? Don’t see any videos on it
Yep similar technique!
Did u ever do a build on urs.. I have 2020 sr.. still need lc2i pro I think make it better
I will need the rca line output converter thing for a 2019 sentra with stock head unit, correct?
You got it. Linked in description
@@ProvoBeastAudio Can you elaborate a bit more on the add-a-circuit? I purchased that as well, but I'm not quite sure how to configure that.
Thanks!
I have a '21 sentra SR... will it be the same process?
Very similar, yes.
Can I get power from my lighter fuse for my blue wire thanks in advance great video by the way
yes
Good video I definitely need a box
What if i’m getting a powered subwoofer will I need to wire the two subwoofer’s that are already in the 2020 Nissan Altima?

Main harness into the engine bay. Yes, be very careful of those wires.

Great video..I'm guessing your subwoofer is playing full range because its tapped into rear deck speakers ??
Amplifier has a low pass filter applied set at 80hz.

NICELY done 👍🏼😎
Can you install the subwoofer and not have to disconnect the backup camera? Have a 2016 base Altima
Those are to unrelated items, no need to modify a backup camera whatsoever in order to install an amp/sub.
Is it possible to get this in without having to take the tire off?
Awesome video
