I think Against and Nation are absoulutely wrongly disregarded by the community and are totally underestimated albums. The rhythm section on these two albums was simply the best, I even think this was the period when Iggor went up to his prime with signature work on toms, all those little accents on cymbals and kinda proggy grooves. Would definately like to see more playthroughs from these albums!
As much as I love early Seppy, some of my favorite metal albums of all time (Skitzo, BTR, Arise etc) Against is truely an underrated masterpiece in it's own league, was kinda sceptical of Derek's addition to the band at first but his vox grew on me over the first few years and these days it's an album on regular rotation, especially as a drummer Against is such an inspirational album.
"Against" is such an underated album with a crazy percussion spirit and a huge heavy metal presence in every track. Very innovative work since that time and in our days.
Kamaitachi is one of my favorite Sepultura tracks, and my first experience of hearing Taiko. Years after playing drums in various bands I have joined a taiko group, and I'm returning to this song over and over. My respect cannot be overstated! Thank you for this!

I remember a friend of mine giving me the "Against" CD as it was released, we didn't know what to expect after "Roots" and the whole debacle of the band. We were with our faces on the floor after the last song. Such and incredible record.

You've been an inspiration to me for many decades. "Attitude" would be an awesome track to look into a bit further. It's my most favorite song from Roots.
Roots is Sepultura's weakest album, it made fans of it that don't know any other songs from the album. Plus it promoted people that know nothing about Sepultura's previous albums to think that they were metal. The kind of people who would wear a long sleeve November Rain shirt, or tell you chuck on Walk when you explain that the music they've been enjoying is Pantera.

O Against é foda. Conheci o Kodo por esse album, depois, quando eles tocaram em SP fui ao show e foi bem impactante sentir aquele som e performance ao vivo. Não tem nada igual.

Against was great, Nation was kinda boring, but who knows maybe I'll give it another shot later.
