I got pulled over 1/1/22 and the cop told me to slow down. I guess this was the universe way of saying “slow down” because how you do one thing is how you do everything.

When I’m feeling defeated by busy days or overwhelmed, I tell myself that “I can do anything, … I just can’t do everything” and that makes me feel better. Also a friend said once “we are called human beings, not human doings”!! 😁 I also like the poem by W H Davies called Leisure. It is the one that starts “what is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare?” 💚

To be honest,when i hang up my laundry, this is exactly what i do. I take up the laundry, smell the freshness of it,then i hang it up. That is just something i enjoy,doing my laundry😊🌻👚👕🧦

Thank you Kay! I so much needed this, especially with what's happening now, and what's about to come! We are often sucked down the rabbit hole of IG and YT slow living channels and honestly, I have not found one yet that reflects the 'norm' or shares with us the truth of their norm the way you do. You juggle soooo many things, from your two Etsy shops, your two boys, a household, writing a book and your Life Coaching business, yet you still live by example, taking time and pleasure in the tasks, and doing them with such grace and gratitude. So many of your videos I return to for moments of calm, inspiration and when I feel like I need just a quite moment with a friend. Thank you for all you do AND CONGRATULATIONS ON 50K!! I couldn't have said it better, everything that you said here! I have yet to find another "slow living" channel that I can relate to. I have a busy life of working in healthcare, homeschooling 2 kids, being a wife, homemaker etc. etc. Kay is by far the most encouraging because she is realistic and down-to-earth. Honestly, sometimes it feels like I actually know her and we are friends lol!

So wonderfully peaceful! I really enjoyed this video, I’m trying to live slow, mindful life but between running my own business and 2 kids it’s so easy to fall into old habits and worry all the time. Thank you for this video ❤️
There is nothing peaceful about having 6 kids. I have 3, and I still have not been able to complete the daily checklist by the end of the day. Not even close. They always need something, and you are always doing 3 things at once. Even then, it's not complete by the end of the day.
Slow living is not for parents. 🤷🏻♀️

Thankyou Kay. I started with a lovely bubble bath and then had a wander around the garden. I'm lucky to live in a beautiful remote area but stress is a part of life unfortunately and we have our share, you just have to slow down and deal with it. Today, I'm concentrating on me! Ah yes, I am still on this journey of living slowly. Living in a quieter town does help but it’s true that being busy at home even can mean we need a break. Thank you for the gentle reminder!

I’m a newbie subscriber and watcher, and I want to say how much I love thus video. I find the concept of slow living intriguing however often seems unrealistic. This video (and your others!) prove that to be wrong! I especially loved the little clip of the butterfly on the hyacinth (?), so wonderfully calming. Thank you once again for helping me feel calmer on this Saturday evening 😌

Well than,,,, this is what everybody needs is to slow down, breath and enjoy your day away from crazyness like work, work at home, kids and stress full chores. This video is great. This is what i'm doing now on my day off from work. Relax and Breath. Do what i like to do. Yesterday i went so Morro Bay California and took pictures and enjoy the day, It's a beautiful Bay area there. Also i just record a video there. i'm gonna put it together and post it in my RUclips channel. it's coming soon. To all who reading this just take a break and enjoy yourself just like this video. What if I always get health issues and can't seem to control anything related to my health? I keep getting new infections, as soon as I cure one, I get another and so on. Just can't seem to ever get out of this never ending circle! It's so frustrating! 😳😭
