    Please mention the gaps between different fertilizers, or can we use all fertilizers you mentioned at same time??

    In alternatives of Fe grow can we use any other organic fertilizer? I am using seaweed liquid in 15 days gap in my Azalea plant but still not blooming?

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  6 месяцев назад

      The Fe grow is basically used to make the soil acidic. We can definitely replace with other materials such as Home-made compost, leaf compost etc. If you have noticed, nursery people use very light potting soil mix for Azalea and they use lots of dried leaves. Most of the plants get imported anyway.
      Also, Seaweed Liquid is not sufficient for demanding plants like Azalea, Roses..I use it just as a supplementary nutrient source. As your plant is not blooming, please try applying all the below organic materials ASAP!
      Considering the size of the pot is not less than 6 inch (dose can be increased for bigger pot) - 10 grams Mustard cake powder + 20 grams Bone meal. Just remove the surrounding soil and then apply. After that, cover them with soil. Applying once in 45 days to 2 months would be sufficient.
      After 7-10 days, apply Potassium Humate. Dose is 2 grams in 1 liter water and it can be mixed with water. You can apply this once in 15-20 days during the flowering time.
      I hope after doing this, it would bloom. Also, please try to provide maximum filtered light as possible. Good luck and if you don't see any result after 20-25 days, please let me know!

    Hello sir, do we have to water azalea plant daily?

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  6 месяцев назад +1

      No, please don't do that..they would die if the soil remains too wet. Water only when the top soil or top 1 inch soil is dry. Good luck and sir is not required actually!

    My azelia growing well in ground but stopped flowering for one month now...is that normal??
    Will it flower again during summer???

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Год назад

      That's is normal..it also depends on variety..some keeps blooming for many days. They usually don't bloom in extreme hot weather and mostly bloom in Spring..

  • @manjuk1708

    They are beautiful plants. Do you know if they survive hot dry summers? I see them occasionally in winter time but they're potted in leaf compost and are bit pricey in North India if I chose a big plant. So I have resisted buying them till now.

      @GardeningUpbeat  Год назад

      Glad you liked it :-) In my place, last year's max temp was 38 degree Celsius and they survive very easily. Pricey here as well..though, normal one is not that costly. For Dwarf variety, it's too much..min Rs. 700
