Nice to see you to see you nice sandy again out on your trike weather looks nice and dry and sunny 🌞 hopefully we see you camping 🏕 witn the trike in the spring and so on but remember to stay safe and stay healthy one life enjoy blessed be
Autumn and Spring, they are both so special. I have vivid memories of walking to the next village to visit my Grandma, she lived in a little cottage. On the way along the path there were fallen leaves so deep they came up past my knees. This must have been around 1966 I reckon, I would have been 4 years old! Still a vivid memory
We have a farm nearby (with a green lane through the middle) that I cycle through occasionally. One of their collies always takes an 'interest' in me. I know that the farmer is quite happy that users of the byway are likely to be deterred by the dog...... There is a large stand of hazel 2 mins before the farm and I have a hidden stick at either end of the lane to be used as a collie deterrent. Works just fine for me😉 Glad to hear Dave's ok👍👍
Who needs a gym when you have a trike and the open road, wonderful video Sandy. Thank you for your videos as always. They are a tonic for many, including myself. Beautifully presented and always a pleasure to watch, so when I get a notification you have uploaded a video it puts a smile on my face 😁
That was a perfect way to spend some time on your fitness regime Sandy. It is so much better than going to a gym to get a little workout. Getting some time outdoors will always keep you fitter, happier, and healthier. You even gave those little dogs a little exercise chasing you down the road. You are surely making the best of your idle time. Those knives will have to wait for you until you can get back to them. Thank you for being so kind as to allow us to join you on this inspiring jaunt out in the fresh air. Take care, stay happy, and I will see you on the next one.
Another enjoyable video Sandy. Good to see you out and about on that brilliant trike. Carry some dog treats with you next time you go past the traveller site, and maybe the dogs will be distracted by those and leave you alone.😊
Yes sandy, autumn is both beautiful and sad, I love the autumnal sights and scents when walking through woods and lanes, colours are fantastic which is beautiful however it's a precursor to the cold winter which I find a tad sad until the glory of spring when it's all go again. 😂 stay safe and thanks for the blog's.
I try and think of the Winter as a time when nature can rest and sleep from it's hard labour. It rests and recharges itself in readiness for the spring. We all love a good sleep:)
I thought Swindon was a very nice place from what I could tell, surely turd was a typo.😅 Anyway I really enjoyed the peaceful and scenic ride. Plus it does the body good 👍
Well done to you for another great local history lesson and tour. Next time you are near those dogs 🐕 just make sure you have some doggy treats to distract them. Stay safe and healthy M8.
Brrrr … looks like a chilly day. Another great bike ride, thanks for taking us along 👍👍👍. Loved seeing the little Gypsy dogs escort you through their territory, their yaps didn’t sound nasty lol just spurring you on in their own doggy way lol ….. they were enjoying the thrill of the chase … so cute 💕💕. Take care, stay safe, warm and well. Judy🇨🇦🇨🇦
Lovely little trip out Sandy. Swindon does get such bad press but find that your channel gives a much better representation of how lucky we are to have great historic sites and countryside all around us.
Hi Sandy, a ride through Stanton park is always worth while whatever the season. The sunshine was very welcome yesterday after weekend of wind and rain, old Bert did cause a lot of disruptions around the country, fortunately like yourself we escaped any damage. Sorry to hear Dave had a miss hap, hope he didn't hurt himself or scrape his new bike. Ah he should have bought himself a trike .(*_*), damp fallen leaves can very slippery this time of year.
Trike all the way this time of year Charles, 3 wheels is much safer. Dave was riding his brand new bike over to me last week and was turning by Supermarine when he hit ice and without any warning went down. Luckily not travelling fast but did scratch his brake levers and got a few bruises. He was a little shook up when he got to my place but otherwise OK. I have decided I am not going to ride any of my two wheelers (motor or pedal) when there is even the slightest risk of frost, it's just not worth it. Doesn't matter how good a rider, when you hit ice your going down!!
Thanks for the video. I would not have liked riding some of that route on two wheels what with all those wet leafs. Turd town indeed !! I am sure it has its nice areas 👍
I had wondered if you might had been out camping in the storm. I’m glad you weren’t in it. Most of Sussex has a lot of flooding at the moment. There is a lot of disused track near me to. You can see the old sleepers just left down some embankments. I guess it was too much trouble collecting them all. Nice ride out Sandy well done.
Thanks for this one Sandy, it's always a boost to see you in your natural habitat, the great outdoors. You are a constant inspiration & motivator. Look forward to your camping video. All the best mate. Regards to Dave in the wake of his tumble.

Hi Bill, I've been to Hook Norton, had a tour around the brewery earlier this year but have not cycled in that area yet. Probably explore it on a bike in the new year
@@WiltshireMan I went around the brewery maybe 50 years ago my grandfather new a lot of the people who worked there but I must try and get around to visiting for a official tour. There’s a road called “Tite lane” it runs past the cemetery at the bottom of tite lane there’s a footpath that goes up hill if you follow it up hill and off to the left at the top you come to the old stone pillars where the old railway was it would be a great place for excellent exploring shows (some people call the old stone pillars the Oxfordshire pyramids but I’ve only ever here’d them called that on RUclips)

Hi Sandy , bit of a worry when you said "chased by a pack of dogs" but glad to see no attacking involved , they were just telling you to get on your way , bigger dogs another story . You did a bit of off-roading on your trike , is it messy on your clothes being muddy and close to the ground . Have a good one :-)
I've been past them before on the normal pushbike, but getting down on their level on the trike could have been interesting. luckily they were all bark and no bite :)
Blooming traffic...hate it. The good thing Sandy is that you have plenty of scenic routes to travel and escaping the rat race doesn't take you long to get back to nature again. Those terriers ran pretty well 😂 Was waiting for lurcher to join em and have a race with you 😂 Looking forward to the Lavvu camp...be lovely to see the stove and pipes on this one. I wonder who Owen’s that building? Be nice to see the bikes😊.
