Wow, I wasn't expecting Sonic 3 to beat out The Lion King but, then again, I believe most people don't want see another live-action film or they're just waiting to see it on Disney+ I know I'll be seeing Nosferatu next weekend. I'll have my Top 5 Worst horror movie coming up this next and my Top 10 Best horror films up after watching and review Nosferatu.
I guess most people would prefer to watch sequels in theaters and wait for the remakes to be released on Disney +. Sequels are more exciting and people want to see the continuation of a story as soon as possible while remakes are just the same movies that they’ve already seen it way too many times! There’s no urgency to watch remakes because we already know how it ends!
The other notable streaming debut is the Doctor Who Christmas special on Christmas day on Disney Plus. Also Netflix gets two NFL games on Christmas (mentioning it for sports fans and I'm not one of those)
All three kids movie: Sonic. Mufasa. Moana. Split the box office three ways. Sonic and Mufasa would’ve done better if they were released two weeks apart; then with Moana, the movies were released too close to one another.
I think that “Mufasa” would’ve performed better at the box office if the movie had been released at the start of January where there are no major competition. I don’t know why Disney chose to release “Mufasa” in less than a month apart from “Moana 2”, especially knowing that “Moana 2” was expected to continue to perform well at the box office, all throughout the end of this year! It’s a case of “friendly fire” that led to the potential losses for both films that have to compete against each other!
0:28 Let's Go!!
Both Mufasa and Sonic 3 were both fantastic movies. I highly recommend both and this is coming from a huge Lion King fan.
I got to say Sonic 3 won today!
Happy holidays⛄🎅❄🎄 I'm going to see Nosferatu.
Happy holidays!
I might look into seeing Nosferatu.
It's tough but I'd say Sonic 3 won
It’s gotta be Sonic The Hedgehog 3.
