MEDWAY GOLF CLUB COURSE VLOG PART 6
Australian PGA Professional Alan Staines & Avid Golfer Steve "RICHO" Richardson play at MEDWAY GOLF CLUB in Melbourne with SOFTY and CHRIS ADNAMS from REDCLIFFE GOLF CLUB. An awesome little course out west of Melbourne with undulating and sloping fairways. 2 very long par 3's also

"Bit chirpy for someone who's just lost twice." Savage Softy - has a nice ring to it!
The savage vegan.
That was another set of great vlogs you blokes and that course looks amazing ⛳️🏌🏼🍻🍻
Really good three holes there. 'Like number 7 especially.
Once again boys thanks for the entertainment, nice course as well
Excellent match and nice camera work.
Thanks
Certainly looks like a fun course. Some loooong holes and some nice short ones too. Great to see Softy back. Chris was fun over these last two tracks too! Richo was very relaxo 😉
Richo is almost asleep every vlog
Al you played those last 3 holes beautifully
I really liked the layout of that course
Great series of vlogs again boys, really enjoyed it, Volkswagen Scramble for me this weekend , hope I can play as good as you blokes😉
Loved the vlogs boys, keep up the good work.
Woot, part 6.
Great stuff, good to see golf being played and enjoyed ☺
Always mate
Question for your next Tuesday tee-off: Chris Adnams is clearly not a stranger to the gym, and I have become been intrigued by the relationship (or not) between increasing strength and improving swing speed.
We see current touring pros from Tiger through Rory to Day, Johnson etc all working out extensively in the gym and bulking up (compare photos of the young skinny Tiger/Rory/Day etc to current). However, their swing speeds don't seem to be actually increasing at all over that same period of time. I acknowledge that their overall driving distances may have increased slightly, but comparisons show that it was not their clubhead speed that has increased.
I recognise that additional strength may be of use in some specific situations, such as preventing the club head from twisting in the rough etc, but what do you perceive the value of gym workouts to be purely in relation to generating further distance (i.e. ignoring any more generic health benefits)?
Great questions. Will answer them mate
Never fun being in Richo's shoes; out with the boys wanting to play your best. When nothing works it's just frustrating beyond belief because you know what you're usually capable of.
On another note, you have an awesome swing Alan. Ever thought of doing some online instructionals?
Cheers all the way from Denmark
Hope Denmark isn't too cold mate. Thanks for thinking my swing looks great. Might do more instructional stuff but I think if best to be one on one
@@AUSSIEGOLFREVIEWER It's slowly thawing, can't wait for proper golf weather.
Yeah man, looks like effortless power.
I think you're right though, much easier to explain details in person.
Looking forward to more course vlogs, have a good one.
Cheers mate. You too. Have a top day
Al, how are you liking the new Taylormade driver? Are you playing the TP5 ball? If not, which ball are you playing?
All the new drivers are mint. Love the look of the taylormade gear. Don't use the tp5 mate, they don't spin enough for me use the pro v1x or new srixon xv
AUSSIE GOLF REVIEWER the new Prov1 is really solid. I’ve also heard that the 2019 TP5 is supposed to spin more. Let me know if you give those a test.
