  • The weekend of the 25th and 26th of September saw the return of the Lydney model railway exhibition, albeit on a much smaller scale. Cancelled during 2020 due to the pandemic, the Lydney show was brought back for 2021. Although smaller than usual to ensure social distancing, it was still a great event put on by dedicated volunteers.
    Layouts include:
    Smallcombe (00)
    Hilton (00)
    On Shed (0)
    Kingsmoor (N)
    Leigh Valley (G)
    Train Trailer (N)
    Shunting Puzzle (00)
    Hope you enjoy.

Shame you missed it, was fun. Hopefully will be on again next year, glad you enjoyed the video, it’s pretty cool seeing a layout like Hillton being used as multiple settings.

Thanks for your time and effort in making and posting this video. It is not often that a race day is captured at a show. Were there prizes for fastest laps and quickest acceleration? I do wish folk would understand that scale modelling in any gauge means that you scale the trains to run at scale speeds.

thank you very much, yeah a few layouts were behaving quite erratically, probably where they haven't been ran for a while.
