good stuff! just wondering if it's worth it for an application that will never see a quarter amount of torque that you have. weight would be the same as OEM even with their provided lightweight flywheel.
I see the pedal is comfortable, but how is engagement? Does it engage smoothly/slip comfortably for street use? Looking at getting one for my TT RS, but don’t want something that bites too hard.
@@blrn54 Ah okay - I am trying to work out if the unicluch masks some of the year box chatter you get when running a single mass fly wheel. Have you not had any issues with false misfire codes yet? I don't know how much power you are running.
@gabrielgordon9104 Have a look at uni clutch reviews on youtube. Plenty show the clutch reduces noise or have no noise. I had a missfire yesterday on coil 3 but that was on 28psi.
Awesome video. A+

It worth it for sure.
I had a oem 550i clutch in it and it gave up around 330kw. No point putting anything else on a manual now.
@@blrn54 not even exedy's UF-EVO and lightweight flywheel? i'm sitting on the fence between these two
This clutch is a new style and is better in every way. Putting any single or dual flywheel setup other then this is behind the times.
You can get a sport version which is more street friendly but I couldnt tell the difference between the track version and 550i clutch.
@@blrn54 yea was one of the reasons i was considering but the weight and performance of the clutch is WAY overkill for my setup.

It has a big window of engagement. It is very different to every other twinplate.
You can use the clutch while at idle for example.
Did you keep the dual mass fly wheel?
Yes

@@blrn54 Yeah will do - and will keep an eye out for a video if you fit a SMFW and do one on the noise with the UniClutch
