Next, I was curious as to how you pick music, outside of it going with the video, how do you pick songs that won’t get a copyright ban? Keep up the videos and again, thank you.
Thank you for watcdhing, glad you enjoy the videos. Over time you learn certain artists to stay away from (Beatles, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac for example), other than that I have a test channel where I try other songs/artists I'm not sure of to see how they are accepted by RUclips. Unfortunatley copyright policies change and what was was OK a couple years ago can eventually be blocked (that's happened) but for the most part the test channel helps me stay away from songs that will get banned/muted.

Well this one looks better because it's color corrected with a few other adjustments/enhancements to the footage where the original is just straight from the camera. I thought the original was OK, but I felt I could improve upon it.
You should go back to Birmingham and see the New I-20/59/65 interchange, also there is a interchange for the I-20/59 & US 31/280 and from there to I-65, ALDOT managed to widen the road 3 to 8 lanes.

@@Freewayjim either do I. That's why I don't advertise my Patreon. It's not really asking for money.. if people like the content and want to see more, they will pay on their own accord. Like I said, it's only a thought. Making two versions of the same video would be tedious. I think the soundtrack for my upcoming I70 video is quite lovely.
Aren't Truck Lanes kind of pointless in a country where pickup trucks are the most common type of private, individual transportation vehicle? Thanks for the upload. Nice and fitting selection of music, as always.
Thank you very much! The purpose of Truck lanes is to seperate 18-Wheelers (not pickup trucks) from regular traffi. I-5 is a very importnt route for big rigs and passing through that interchange (all the way to the I-405 Exit a few miles to the south) with all extrances/exits in a short distance and potential weaving it's actually a smart thing, plus they are using the original US-99 lanes through there so it was pretty easy to incorporate.
@@Freewayjim I see, thanks. I just was confused because I first assumed a dedicated truck lane must mean that only trucks are allowed on it, but then I saw first a pickup and then even a compact car driving on it.
@@Freewayjim I suppose I have a hard time wrapping my head around people not using a lane despite being allowed to, especially after all I heard about traffic congestion in and around LA. Where I live (Germany) basically the whole highway system is one big truck lane, with commercial trucks lining up bumper to bumper. The world famous "Autobahn" isn't what it used to be anymore. On one hand you have all the commercial freight traffic of Europe rolling through Germany, since the "Iron Curtain" fell and on the other hand companies started saving money by applying a "Just in Time" and "Used as Produced" system, where they don't have storage facilities anymore, but have everything they need to manufacture stuff delivered just when they need it. With other words, they turned the communal road system into their storage facility, which saves them a lot of money, ruins the roads for everyone else and costs the tax payers a fortune. And all that additional heavy freight traffic also causes more wear and tear to the roads, which means more construction work and more congestion. When people talk about the international truck driver shortage, it baffles me. Some experts have calculated that the German economy would need about 400 000 truck drivers more, which is ludicrous when you look at how trucks are already lining up bumper to bumper, as I said, on pretty much every right lane on every highway in the country, making it hard to get on and off for everyone. The point being that if people here would have a problem driving in between and next to big trucks, they couldn't drive at all.
@@TrangleC Most people don't want to drive close to big trucks if they don't have to, it makes them nervous, and these particular truck lanes only go for a few miles to make traffic flow smoother through the interchange, which is fairly complex (look at it on Google Maps). It's really not a big deal, you are over-thinking it.
That could change depening on my mood but here goes and I'm only mentioning roads I've driven, that I personally enjoy, so there are others out there that may be better: 1) California Highway 1 along Big Sur, 2) I-70 west of Denver, 3) I-15 Virgin River Gorge, Arizona, 4) I-90 Through Snoqualmie Pass, Washington, 5) US-101 from San Luis Obispo to Ventura, CA.
@@Freewayjim I see. I live in KC and dont have alot of experience looking at natural scenery so Im doing research and asking you for your opinions since you have so much experience because Im making a list of highways to take when I go on roadtrips. When I take the 65 from down to Branson from KC there are some small mountains and they really impress me and my friends. I-70 west of Denver are probably the next closest mountains to here so Im excited to hear that its very impressive.

@@LetsRideIllinois Whatever works for you, I don't ask people for money.
@@TrangleC Cars can ride on them if they like, but I doubt most people would, I only did for the sake of filming it.
What in your opinion are the top 5 scenic drives in the US, in order?
That could change depening on my mood but here goes and I'm only mentioning roads I've driven, that I personally enjoy, so there are others out there that may be better: 1) California Highway 1 along Big Sur, 2) I-70 west of Denver, 3) I-15 Virgin River Gorge, Arizona, 4) I-90 Through Snoqualmie Pass, Washington, 5) US-101 from San Luis Obispo to Ventura, CA.
@@Freewayjim Do you think that I-70 west of Denver is more scenic than the "million dollar highway" in Colorado?
@@hankschrader7050 I don't know, I've never been on the "Million Dollar Highay".
@@hankschrader7050 Yeah I-70 is incredibly impresseive, I'v seen the mountains snow capped in June and July through there.
Wants da first song great video

Why don't you upload videos anymore it's November 9 2022 and you haven't uploaded in a whole year 🤨
Because I have not been anywhere to get new footage nor have I felt the desire to remix any older footage.
