    Why do people forget bill belichik went out of his way to not only to draft brady but made sure he had a roster spot. Brady was qb#4 in his rookie season, it was pretty much a wasted roster spot. Belichik knew what he had with brady

      Not exactly. Belichick went out of his way? Brady was a 6th round pick, with 6 QB's taken before him in the 2000 draft. Neither Belichick nor Kraft knew what they had in Tom. Even in 2001, when Brady took over from Bledsoe early in the season.

Bill would be disengenuous if he said he knew at the time that Brady would become what he became. After all, Brady was not rock-solid in some of those early games.

    I can't challenge or argue with anything you Gentlemen said! In fact I agree!!!     The problem is that Bill believed his own hype Later in his career in New England that he constantly got in his own way and hurt the team. But that is not a reflection on his whole career with the patriots. Yes, he screwed up at the end, especially with Brady and over estimating his abilities But that doesn't take away from his abilities As a coach.
    But I really do believe this is the best outcome from him to be humble by the situation and to continue his career somewhere away from my favorite team, which sucks😢

    Perhaps we’re framing the relationship incorrectly. Maybe Kraft looked at Belichick as a minority invested business partner who at the end of the day was wrong about a business decision: getting rid of Tom Brady. If you saw one of your other business partners about to do the same business, you’d have a fiduciary responsibility of letting him know he’s about to make a mistake lol.
    I mean, when Belichick makes that alleged quote about his guys being soldiers, it’s an indictment that this great coach is deliberately NOT picking leaders…the hell I want that for?!

    Yes, the most unforgivable sin to Robert Kraft was the fact that Coach Belichick looked him in the eye and told him that Brady was done. Far from it. Goes off and wins a Super Bowl and should’ve been the MVP that second year. He could come back today and still ball. 🏈 💯🔥👊🏾

    1) The patriots way works anywhere if you have buy-in from the players. So you need some veterans on board. 2) We didn’t were pads on Fridays 10 years ago so that’s not a thing. 3) Scott Pioli is the GM in ATL and he was in New England from 2000-2008 if anyone spoke on Bill coming to ATL it was Scott and Scott’s a damn good GM. Would have loved to see them paired up again.

    I tend to think Kraft used the word “trust” but not the way most people are talking about it. Blank asked Kraft about BB just coaching and staying out of personal decisions, and Kraft said he wouldn’t trust BB to be able stay quit about decisions he disagreed with. Not suggesting BB was untrustworthy but has too much of an ego to stay quit.
