    Awesome thanks❤ and can we add environnement variable? Is it gonna restart the docker itself?

    • @ruhani-rabin
      @ruhani-rabin  11 месяцев назад

      Yes, you can. Sorry for the late reply, sometimes youtube does not show the comments until late. In the secrets page, you can modify the .ENV file or manage variables. Once you click deploy - it will restart the container.

    Thanks for the video. How do you perform version updates? Is that also included in Coolify?

    • @ruhani-rabin
      @ruhani-rabin  3 месяца назад

      Yes, update system is included in coolify - it is very easy, just stop the container instance (Pause Icon) and then start it up using Deploy button (Play Icon) and it will update the specific application. Just make sure the docker image is not pointed to a specific version, it should point to something like "latest". for example - this is the correct pointer for n8n - docker.n8n.io/n8nio/n8n

    You forgot to mention that on Hetzner, on the firewall section, you need to open up inbound TCP traffic on port 3000 (or whatever port coolify is running on). I just had to do that.

      Strangely, I did not have done that and it is still running, but i think you might be right on this. Thanks a lot man. 🙏

    hello could you help me understand how and when to use this or that and also so that I can understand the example of the workflows which are made available to us on the site, there are very few explanations and therefore I have a lot of difficulty understanding

      Hi this will require a minimum knowlege of using Linux servers. N8N is an open source automation tool, which I use in a daily basis. But it is not that easy to learn in a day or two, the good thing is, there are a lot of example workflows of n8n on their website. This video is specific to install n8n on your own VPS with a minimal fuss.

    The affiliate link does not offer a $20 credit after registering with a new account or with an existing account.

      @ruhani-rabin  7 месяцев назад

      You will get the credit with a new account, and a minimal of $10 topup is needed. Once $10 is spent on your new account, they will give the $20 - so for example if you topup the new account with $10 - you will get $30 in total. make sure to use the link (links.ruhanirabin.com/hetzner) and make sure cookies are not blocked.

    This is great! I was able to install couple of months ago by following thiis process. I have question regarding upgrading to the latest version. I am running 1.0.5, but latest is 1.7.1. How do I upgrade? Thanks!

    • @sanjaychristian8082
      @sanjaychristian8082 Год назад

      I was able to login to "Coolify" stop the service, update the latest version and deploy. It took about 15 sec. This is really great!

      It seems like i could not see this comment until now. I hope you already figured this out but the simple way of upgrading is using the latest version number and press deploy again.

    What with backup?

    • @ruhani-rabin
      @ruhani-rabin  Год назад

      Hi usually for backup - you can use server side backup which is provided by tools like vultr, hetzner, linode or digitalocean, it generally cost between $2-2.5 per month. Hope that helped.
