Wow rod is looking sick ! I just ordered one. Are you going to review casting version of this rod, maybe 664L-C?

Between this and the Creek Dance, which one is better in sensitivity? Which do you prefer?

Very different rods - Creek Dance is trout fishing in tiny streams and has medium action; this one has XF and is more sensitive..

Very similar. Get one that is cheaper or you like more.

I ordered the casting version. On there site it says it casts 0.9 to 5.3 grams. On the rod it says 2 to 7 grams. And it feels like a 5 to 15 grams very weird. The model i have is saying wrong weight and than it is even heavier then this. Also the rod feels tip heavy and has a very short handle. Very unbalanced

Can't comment on what has been sent to you.
As per video - seems these rods are a little bit under-rated when it comes to casting weights. As per video - it has short handle hence needs heavier reel.

@@AndrewsKnots Thanks for your response. I do keep the rod and use it for finesse jigs around 5 grams seems perfect for this. I do feel the rod is a little tip heavy even with a abu garcia revo premier reel on it. So i think it is a good idea to put a weight on the back of the rod.

@@AndrewsKnotsI have both the L and the UL spinning versions. According to the spec sheet (from memory) the UL should be a 1.8 g to 7g, the L a 0.8 to 5 g. The UL is supposed to be quite a bit heavier. Which is odd. In reality, both are almost exactly the same weight- UL is about 84 and L is 87g. Each section weighs about the same. Tip sections are same bendiness. The only difference is the UL has a very short gap between the two grip sections. The one in your video has the longer grip (L). As the UL is the exact same length, it does feel a bit more tip heavy. The lure weights marked on the rods are both the same range- as in your video. I love both of them, but would like the descriptions to be accurate.
