mr. bartos you are so knowledgable. thanks for sharing what you know with us and being an inspiration to all of us to follow our dreams. May I add or ask, why did you not model? :) you are incredible handsome!!! don't forget talented, good luck in all of your endeavours.
I love the way he speaks perfect English and you hear his native German language. Mr. Bartos if your are reading this post more pics on your webpage. A loyal female fan. :)
Interesting. I never really figured out the roles--I thought Bartos was the one who bought the mechanized peercussion. Great comments. Great band--so many elegant melodies
Wise man indeed, and he seems very down to earth and sympathetic! And yes he has definitly played a big role i Kraftwerk - probably much bigger than Mr. Hütter would admit to!
This man is a genius. Listen through the Kraftwerk-Discography and read the credits. You will find out, that some of the coolest songs were written by Karl Bartos! If you listen to his later works, you'll see, that the melodies and electronic style was the same, that was used-to-be the typical "Kraftwerk-sound", which they're lacking since his departure
Yep! His stile is obviously not the same as Kraftwerk, but he is unique in his own way, and if you listen to Electric café, it really reminds the stile of the single Bartos. That was, because in this album his activity was dominating. Bartos is one of my favourite Kraftwerk members, and he is also origin of Hungarian (I'm native Hungarian), that's why I stood out for him against "cgbaroudi".
I have to agree with you kraftwerkification (luv the screen name!!!) anyways, from what i've read & yes i did read for myself, that mr. bartos left because of creative differences. it's a good thing he did becuz we would not have 15 min of fame, reality & some of the others. yes, mr bartos should sound like mr. bartos NOT anyone else. mr bartos stay true to yourself. many hugs all. :) *virtual kiss on the jaw to mr. bartos from a female fan 4 luck* :)
Yeah, but they also put out quite a few albums before he even got there. I do think Karl was their secret weapon, as I said before, but I also give Ralf and Florian their proper credit as musicians and artists. Wolfgang seems like the least essential component of their classic era, although even he was a pioneer with the equipment he built, particularly the electronic drums.
Hey guys, I will try my best to be nice here. What proof do you have that Karl is not BS'ing? I do not hear the genius in his solo music, he does not speak like an intelligent person. Even Ralf himself indicated that he is full of it. So please elaborate and let's be nice. Thanks.
All those Dinosaur awesomness from 70's have shadow members... but they are important anyway... JohnPaul jones from Ledzepplein per example was constantly shadowed by Page/Plant yet is actually the most talented member... Bartos was simply part of the legend along the others, and has his glorious moments and contribution.

Mister Bartos, You are absolutely correct about frequencys, accords and melody.
Surprising how he managed to stand so still for the gigs so long - he's making up for it now!
Totally agree with you Mr. Bartos!
His ability to express himself in a foreign language puts us English to shame. He sounds like a really nice guy.Ralf is such a cold fish.

love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a lovely, interesting man, as is Wolfgang Flur (if interviews are anything to go by). I like what I've heard of his solo stuff too:-)
Very true, Karl - the power of music....

And Karl!!
Musical GENIUS!
he knows so much about the meaning of music, can I buy him
We are better because of you.
a real genius to me. the alma-mater at Kraftwerk's greatest years.
Electric Cafè was saved by François Kevorkian. The Techno Pop suite is one of the best things Kraftwerk ever did just because of the amazing mix.
I love him.
I agree totally with the last comment! But I'am very curious about à sort of Super Kraftwerk with Stefan, Fritz, Henning, Wolfgang and R&F.
My Daughter absolutly Loves Karl bartos! She really admires him and florian, wolfgang, ralf
And she is extremly obsessed with kraftwerk!!😊❤
The man's a genius.
Friendchip.
I think I am realizing more and more how Karl Bartos was the secret weapon of Kraftwerk. I wonder if he will ever get his due.
The Keith Richards of electro pop

I would buy this man of pint any day. a top bloke
@SirHatchporch Yes I am thinking the same thing.
Yes, i mean chords. Chord=accord.
Oh so you're the female fan Kraftwerk has. I was beginning to think it was a hoax. :P
you mean 'chords'...
@123torrent Your profile pic is GROSS
