Great series, really helping a tryhard HC like me. So hard to try and decipher match vids and figure out what the hell top tier players like Umisho are doing. Thank you.
It's just about timing the guard crush shot. It does take time to learn since it is manually timed, but as long as you're doing everything else quickly, then you should have a good amount of time to get it out. If you're not popping them high enough after it, then try shooting from 214S a little later each time until you find the limit of how late you can. Then work on finding the timing that still pops them up but isn't too difficult to get consistently. Keep at it and you'll get it!
@@thegoldenphoenix3710 Yes, if you don't let the reticle fully zoom in, then it will do a different type of shot that is weaker and does less damage/knockback

A question when getting a wall splat how do I know if I have time for a concentrate; a reload or a curse? Or multiple of the above It seems inconsistent when people can un stick themselves
@@Rpreditor00 if you wall splat with a gun shot, you can do focus then break it with super. Splatting with moves like 6S or other normals, you can reload a couple bullets or do curse.

Edit: This was on Sol and when I tested it on Millia, she didn't reach the well but had too much gravity for the 214S[H]
If you're wall splatting with 5H shot, then you're probably delaying it too much. You'll want to do a slight delay after 6S into 5H shot then do 214S[H] basically as fast as you can. If you still can't get it to work lmk.

Hey, I just want to say thanks again. This guide really helped me understand how to play HC. Just wondering if you plan on updating the match ups with the new characters. Sin, Bedman? Etc…
Hey there, i'm trying to learn hc and I have a question about the 2K corner to corner combo! So when I do 2K > 2D > 236S > 6K > 214S > ]H[ > 22P > 5K > 6K > 236S, at this point in the combo where I should pick them up with 5K > DC > ]H[ > 5K > 6S, they are either too far on the 5K, or later after the dash cancel at the 6S. I suspect it has something to do with the height at which I catch them with the first 5K after the Steady Aim shot, but I'm not sure and without knowing I can't practice making it consistent. Also while we're on the subject, I found that it is also possible to go corner to corner into super WB by doing 2K > 2D > 236S > 6K > 214S > ]H[ > 22P > 5K > 6K > 236S > ]H[ > 5K > 6S > 214S > ]H[ > (214P >) 632146S. I personally find this combo way easier to execute as it does require dash cancels and it doesn't seem to have the same inconsistency with the spacing, all while still carrying them to the corner and still doing I think exactly the same damage as the one you posted. Is there a specific reason as to why you deemed it a better bnb? Thanks in advance!
After 236S sometimes doing a micro dash before the 5K can help if you think they'll be too far away. Or make sure to dash closer after the charge shot. And if that route works for you corner to corner then you can definitely do that. But generally I think the route I did is better because it has more corner carry letting you wall break with 6S instead of super if you don't have the meter. But most of the time you should be able to super so it's good to know multiple routes.
@@aDTimeGaming thanks for the tip in the first route. As for the second one it actually wall breaks with steady aim, still provides time for focus into wallbreak with either steady aim or super
When doing steady aim into shot then reload, once you do 214S, hold H until you want the shot to come out. When you let go it will come out. While holding H, you should also hold down so that once you let go of H you just need to press P to reload. The simple input for getting the cancel from steady aim into reload is down and P so as long as you're holding down press P after the shot it should be fast.
Hey, I failed my celestial challenge cause Im inconsistent with the ender. Do you know why some times the 5k connects and sometimes it doesn't as they are too far away is it a timing thing or am I knocking them too high?
If it's after the dash cancel, the 5K should never whiff. If it does happen often, then you should be able to shoot a second time to help stabilize the height. If you mean after the 236S, it is fairly common that you will need to microdash to get it to reach
ruclips.net/video/EfSzpNDHa_0/видео.html&ab_channel=aDTime Here's the better combo since they changed gravity scaling on regular 5H shot. Make sure to delay the final shot if you're really going full corner to corner or they'll fall to the ground before hitting the wall.
Ive been practicing his combos but i still struggle with a few things. for example, kara cancelling, linking steady aim clean hits (which i would LOVE a dedicated guide on, since even though ive watched all your HC guides back to back several times, i cannot do it consistently in blockstrings.) and making sure the gunshots don't 'overlap' on 5k into dash cancel 5h 5k 6S ender, and making sure i dont wall break with the steady aim shot at wallsplat. also, Does Jumping Gunshot after blocked C.S mean that you have to block high? i still struggle to pressure / combo online especially with air dash / jump attacks. really helpful video guides otherwise and i appreciate it. 👍
Kara canceling just takes practice, make sure to look at my inputs in the video closely and try to match them. It's not super important to know how to do it, but it is great to have. I may try to make a more specific tutorial for steady aim clean shots/guard crush shots. I'm not exaclty sure what you mean the gunshots overlap during that ender. Making sure you don't wall splat just takes getting used to doing combos from different spots on the screen and recognizing how close the wall is to breaking previously based on how much you see it shatter with each hit. Jumping gunshot is a mid so it can be blocked high or low. A lot of it comes down to practicing and getting muscle memory down. And with enough time you'll get consistent. He is quite a difficult character, but keep your head up and keep going!
@@aDTimeGaming also, what i mean is that sometimes i might 'mistime' the 5h shot and make the steady aim shot whiff for some reason, or maybe 'overlap' the block stun from 5h shot into steady aim shot while attempting a guard crush from blockstrings somehow? all im saying is that my shots have inconsistent results, thats all.
@@Longsword. If that's the case then I think it's most likely that you're doing the first 5H shot too early so they are out of blockstun by the time steady aim starts up, so it doesn't track well enough.
@@Saltyrevy Had to reopen the game to test and remember, but you don't need to dash up for 6K after 236S. By the 1 or 2 frame combo do you mean the like 2S 5H shot into charge shot combo rather than a fast steady aim shot? If so, then it's strictly about learning the timing, but I think it's too inconsistent to go for because of how tight the timing is.
Most if not all should still work, but some may be harder because they made the gravity increase when shots happen. Worst case you may need to add in an extra shot to keep them high enough
