I love that you went back to TOCA Race Driver 3 and are going through the championships. That was always one of my favorite games growing up. Have you ever played Dirt to Daytona? The damage on this game was stellar for a game from 2002
Hey failrace just thought you might want to know this. I've actually race at barbagallo in my gokart and had the chance to do some hot laps in a formula 4 car. We normally race gokart at the proper kart track just about a hundred meters down the road a you car hear all the cars and bikes that race there. Thanks for all the great videos keep up the great work. From Kieren
Hey FailRace! Really been enjoying the ToCA 3 videos as it's a childhood favorite of mine. I don't know if you plan on doing more videos but if you do, there is a glitch with the game if you have been using the simulation settings (damage, handling) in options, when you restart the game, those options are reset to off every time which can make the AI feel like molasses through the corners compared to your arcade handling model that it defaults to. Love the vids!
here's a helpful tip to you, when you're racing on the super truck race at nashville, STAY ON THE GAS, do NOT let off the throttle or get on the brakes at ANYTIME!!!!
hi Failrace you know the pro simulator you have to TURN OFF THE GRAVEL TRAP HANDLING AND DAMAGE cos it WILL SLOW YOU DONT A HELL LOT i know cos i tryed it on one of the races on the world tour and god it slowed me down a far bit so TURN THEM 3 OFF and you will get FIRST on all of the tracks
Failrace yes they do oval racing in truck in canada at least from what i've found out in my 1 min reaserch on youtube :P just search truck oval racing :P
Correct. In the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (one of the Big 3 series), they race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (Mosport). It generates some pretty badass racing.
Although Mosport is, of course, one of the road courses on the schedule. However, NASCAR does have a Canadien Series. They race on some ovals you can find in Canada like one in Edmonton I believe.
if only modern racing games had the agressiveness of the AI not wanting to leave you any space and break checking you on a straight which gives you a god dam penalty. Codemasters Please get rid of Jeff he is so boring and negitive replace him with Fun, Supportive Rick.

that monster truck section was painful.
just switch to automatic ;_;
I think the trick with the Monster Trucks is to learn the undulations in the track and find the flattest sections where possible.
ah that early feeling. Failrace = best channel on youtube
+Gavin Kerber Seconded
Thirded...?
+otaruduck Fourthded
I sixthed
monster trucks are by far the toughest vehicles on this game, and Barbagallo was on Race Driver 2 as well
It's interesting to know that these trucks actually run on their standard tires, despite the massive output.
28:03 GG
The monster trucks were pinging the limiters because you kept going airbourne from the bumps, if your airbourne the revs get really high
Keep your foot down along the bumps man!
Can confirm that Gateway is indeed a real track haha, it's the only one that's relatively close to where I live in Missouri.
Only fantasy tracks in this game are the dirt ones except for Brands Hatch Rallycross. Even the very rare Bedford Autodrome is real!
For anyone wondering: Eastern Creek is now known as Sydney Motorsport Park (I think).
correct.

I think with the monster truck, there's alot of turbo lag, so instead of shifting down, you have to wait for the power... just my observation
Gateway and Nashville are indeed real. Nashville is ex-NASCAR, and they use Gateway with the trucks.
NASCAR Truck Series, of course.
I hope Alex discovers Pro Career Mode
barbagallo raceway looks different because the game was made before they remastered the actual circuit.
What I did with the monster truck was stiffen the suspension as much as possible so it didn't bounce around as much.
TOCA Race Driver 2 also had Barbagallo. Other than that I don't know any other game that has it :p
Love the video ;) Keep this series up ! And keep up the good work
Put the Monster truck to automatic gearbox.
By the way the race engineer's name is Rick IIRC

+RacerTavi both of those answers miss tge mark entirely.
did you know AKRAPOVIČ on the truks is a SLOVENIAN company. we are so proud!!!
Yes they make good exhausts!
+Joe Milnes are you Slovenian
+Jošt Kastelic nope, British, I've just heard of them through the Internet and things!
The pc version looked so much better than it does on xbox. Why didn't you start this series on PC?
kinda sad.. I didn't get to say welcome to the show on this video.
your capture got frozen?
Riggght.

There Australian tracks
Lol there were strippers next to the monster truck
I think Nashville is a dodgy Daytona remake
Wrong. It's real, and no where near like Daytona. They use to race it in NASCAR. Early 2000's
Heh, Nashville is 1.3 miles and Daytona is 2.5, so. :P
Doesnt this game have anything but chase view?
+Saptarshi Bandyopadhyay It has a chase cam,dash cam,hood cam,and bumper cam.
