      In decades past, this "game" was dominated by degenerates;
      Now, it is mastered by 'academic athletes';
      Competition is the best - Equality is the worst;
      I like poker because the best players succeed - unlike the real world, where the rich people can just do whatever;
      if you are a rich poker player and just 'do whatever', then you are a loser - like a fishy whale......
      fishy whales are the best kind of losers - just smile and be nice to them;

    To be honest, most true nits I run into don't 3bet their monster hands, they just flat call behind you. But just the fact that they call your raise is the equivalent of anyone else 3betting you, so you know just from their calling you that they have a monster. So unless I get a K, J, 10 rainbow flop, I'm not putting another dime into the pot with AQ offsuit in this scenario.

      I was lucky to get at a table with a NIT, and a whale! I was between them. I sure got my stats up for that week. I play coins. I won 8 M in about an hour of work. I was at one table with a Nit. I was clapping when he called or bet.
      Basically. I don't bluff. I love showing off when lose a bet. Whenever I fold after a bet that I lose I also show my hand. 😊 it is a psychological move...when I show the hand I loose on they think I am a dumb woman. When I actually lose and show them that...They think I am a dumb women. Meanwhile I am playing strictly what I learned from blackrain69 and I am only playing winning hands. The Good Players may realize I am pretty good. I find they fold rather quickly. I will then walk the dog so to speak, and after raising the bet on the preflop I will also raise them on the street cards. Clearing out the fleas so to speak. Then I raise big time. ( not with the "Nit or TAG.)
      The whales and the nits who don't have a hand fold. I am left with the Sportsman better, who is going to call anything. I am also stuck with the tAG who possibly bets. I will fold in that case to the TAG. Except if I have the nuts. Then the TAG possibly wins over any Whale. ( I call them "COWBOYS" AS THEY ARE LIKE THE WILD WEST. I CALL TAG PLAYERS, "GOOD PLAYERS." I CALL nits, Nit.
      I also have a made up name...the sleepers. THEY ARE THE PLAYERS WHO FOR EXAMPLE: Get the nuts on the turn of AA. And I have KK and a AK comes up, and I continue to walk the dog so to speak, then they still might not bet. I go all in and lose my pot😢
      That is my weak point. I am so excited that I have trips, and on the river I don't notice a boat ot a higher trip on the river. I do that so often and lose. I force myself to look at the odds on the bottom before I call on the river. I am winning more coins that way!
      Nate has me understanding the fine points of playing. I have gone from ( at multiple table tournaments) gone from an average of winning 33% of part of the pot, usually averaging at least the bottom third, and sometimes the bottom 15-20%. I am going to the final table now, about 10-15%.
      I give the credit to Nate. He is the only poker channel I subscribe to. I love how he makes it simple with his different table scenarios. When I don't understand what he is teaching, I stop the tape and study the table.
      Player types like he is teaching in this video is very important. Instead of spacing out I am watching the players. I take notes mentally on how often they "bluff" when I finally get to the "money" then I know how they play, what they play, and how they bet. I avoid many pitfalls that way...
      Your place at the tournament is important too! In the beginning I will fold everything but the BB and maybe the SB. After the " couboys leave. the tables settle down. I mostly do well with the TAGS and "good players." It's the skillful occasbluffers and "cowboys" that get me. Coyboys are hard to dect if they are bluffing like they usually do and USUALLY TAGS will fold if they don't have a hand.
      I am finally learning about table position. Nate is right about the tips on position. If the game is tough I will even fold AA out of position with a sports player or just call. I have lost my money many times being out of position. You have a "Broadway" hand and bet part of your pot, and lose it when the "buddy" to the left of you goes all in. If a TAG goes all in when I am out of position I HAVE to fold.
      By being in the right position, I can judge who is calling and going to play. I am able to Judge if I want to face off with them.
      Nates position on Aces is so true. If you watch, you will readily see how many hands are lost by people who ALWAYS hold onto A's no matter what. By watching the players who win I am able to see what they are winning with. I hate loosing when I have a lower kicker. I generally fold is I have anything paired with an ACE that is lower than a eight.
      So, what is your opinion? Do you have any tips for me? You think I could play a better way?
      Sorry to have such a long post. I like writing! ❤

      When I have a really strong hand against the LAG and Whales and Maniacs I loss on the river. With a 4-6% chance of them catching their miracle card, they catch it. @@denniskrook2925 hi Dennis I have not taken your comment negatively. When playing I look for hand patterns. At Stars here is just one example. If I have Broadway cards and the flop comes all under 10 high then I know I can throw my hand away because the rest of the board will stay under 10 high. That’s a simple fact. And just to be clear I’m taking hand ranges into account. On GGPoker if that miracle card with a 6% (3 outs) hits then that should only happen out of 100 hands 6 times. And like coin flips there is variance. However this variance is never ending. I have stopped playing Pokerstars. I like GGPoker’s tournament games but their cash games are not above board. No tilt, no mental issues just facts. Pay closer attention to the website hand patterns and not just your opponents

      @@gerrydroege9444 Beats are part of the game, online you will see many more. I've had my share of horrid runs, I've flopped quads twice and lost.
      Variance can kick you in the rear hard.
      The thing is, how are you betting your hands? If you flop a set and the board is dry you can make smaller bets to get the chasers to call post.
      On the turn however you need to amp it up. 30-50% of pot isn't getting it done. You should bet 75-100% of the pot on the turn when your opponent calls your post flop bet, unless a str8/flush has completed on the turn, and if there is a draw possibility that comes up on the turn, but no made hand yet possible, consider shoving the turn. You want the guy with 8-11 outs going all in after the turn, and even more so, the 2 out player calling.
      Are you 3 betting enough when you have a strong starter to reduce the field to 1 or 2 callers? Or are you letting 5 others see the flop?
      I played in a live game today where a guy caught QQ preflop playing 1/2 in position. He raised to 15 pre and got 2 callers. Board was dry, it checks to him and he bets only $5, so both players call. The turn was a blank but gave a flush draw, it again checks to him, and again he bets only $5.
      The river was an ace, and the person holding one bets the rest of his stack, $65, and he calls with the QQ.
      You can't be mad when someone does this, because you let them get there cheap.
      Instead with $48 in the pot post flop, he should have bet around $30-$35.
      The guy has to put in 1/2 his remaining stack to call, with ace high. When the turn bricks, put him all in.
      If he calls all in with 3 outs and hits, you got every chip in good, so you cannot be upset. You want to run this as many times as possible.
      You can't do anything about beats, but you can punish the chasers by making them call priced out., but
      If you put the $35 bet in post and they both fold, great. You just picked up 24bbs easily.
      The only time I'm not betting the turn is in position against a player who will bluff the river on a missed draw 95% of the time, because they are never calling a turn bet that misses them anyway, but think they can steal because in their mind, you are on a draw as well when u checked the turn.

    please stop insulting our intelligence with the same stint every time, maybe it's good at getting new viewers but you need to keep people coming back. I've been watching your channel for a couple months now and at first I thought it was a nice supplement to my training from Jonathan Little. But you fail to put out new content and keep hammering the same clickbait videos that you've put out 10 times each. A few weeks ago I said enough is enough I'm sick of watching this guy, his videos are so boring at this point and I stopped watching.

      @@BLohse what's that have to do with anything I said? I never made a claim at how good I am. And I'm sorry if I sounded angry at Nathan I came across wrong, I honestly noticed that I stopped watching the videos because they became the same boring thing.
      And also if you were a winning play you'd know that being a winning player is all relative to the game you are playing. I know that at the 1/2 NL game I play at Foxwoods I smash haha but I'm very honest how low I am

    "Today I'm gonna teach how to read their poker hand every single time"
    ...
    3 seconds later
    ...
    "Let me point out that it's not possible to read their poker hand every single time"
    Yet there is still 11:06 minutes of video afterwards. Care to explain, you muppet?
