I wish I had something like this less than 3 miles away. All I have less than that is a crappy GameStore with an uninterested owner that raises the price 2 times on popular games.
@@retrobloke- I am selling well both in store and online on my website shop. You were actually the first online retro store I bought some items from back in approximately 2010. Items I still have...
Just spent a couple of hours with Ben yesterday in this absolute treasure trove for retro nerds! Really is everything you see in this video, such a nice guy, and comes across as not just in it for the money for sure. Picked up a mini JVC CRT for a very reasonable amount during my visit and will be back again soon!
Need more stores like this run by actual genuine people so people can buy video games for a decent price instead of being subject to crazy online prices
Crazy thing about today prices of old games... Here is a guy selling a copy of pokemon sapphire in nearly $900. That kind of shite is why nobody try to buy old games.
My first GameBoy Advance SP was in a KMart display model. I started working there in 2006, and found it in the storage just collecting dust. I bought it for $20, and it took me forever to get it out of the display casing.
My life’s dream is to own a business like this. I figure most of my sales would be online, but I’d have it all open like this for the sake of being sorta like a museum. But I’d use the car area for a multiplayer and/or board game area. Maybe have specific games scheduled for multiplayer tournaments at specific times. It’s be such a great way to enjoy the amazing multiplayer experience that’s completely missing on new consoles.
Wonderful video Elliot! Thank you for this. I'm not in the UK so I probably won't be seeing that store anytime soon myself, but it's especially because of that that I loved you taking a tour and talking to the owner. Love the enthusiasm of the man, too!
I totally love that the prices are super reasonable. You dont pay a dumb mark-up "premium" on retro stuff like you would do on ebay or some other places. so if youre just the average joe that want to grab some retro consoles to actually play on them, or even if its just to put it on a shelf - you will be able to do that without leaving with an empty wallet !
That Skyline is beautiful. Imo, 80s/90s Japanese cars are peak design. I love it. After moving here, I was blown away at all the RX7, Supras, and Skylines still on the road. It's awesome. Also that game shop is sick.
I flippin love retro sect and can recommend it to anyone passing by junction 9 on the M5 with time on their hands and an interest in vintage stuff. The time passes so fast there and the prices are good too. And he sells cars... Thanks for featuring this Elliot, it looks like you had fun!
This shop is the definition of "shut up and take my money!" 😁😁😁 Glad you shared it with us Elliot! (Plus the price really look down to earth, kudos to the owner for that!)
Bro this place is my dream to visit all the of consoles and games for a good price and a hangout place with games that we can play for free and the owner is nice like what is a more genuine store this is a place I wanna visit brings me back to my childhood
This place is amazing! It has everything I like and am into! Old cars, old tech, old toys, old games.....going here would bring back a flood gate of memories! I also love it's run by a passionate enthusiast that loves all the same stuff I do!
Popped into this store this morning. Had a good chat with owner (he mentioned that Elliot had done a video here), and bought some gameboy games to add the collection. Absolutely fantastic shop to visit.
Went there last week, lovely bloke and genuinely passionate about what he does. I would strongly recommend any adult with nostalgia interests to give your business to this man
This is a truly great gem of a shop. Found out about this place about a month ago and already can't wait to visit again. Absolutely great guy and a great place!
Ooh, so much 80's nostalgia! Those cars are right up my street, definitely the type I'd have had poster of when I was a kid. I'd love to visit but it's a little too far for me, sadly. But if I'm ever down that way I know where I can go!
Such a great shop with a genuine, friendly owner. One of the things that caught my eye is the retro PC games section. That's not something you see very often in retro game stores.
I am going to take mine 😊 I have tried to explain what it was like when I was younger and the look on their faces when they said about buying a game and it would be complete, no updates or dlc also couch multiplayer kids just don't understand.😊
@@GameSpirit1 I had one when I just got my driving license. I could race out all my buddies. Plus, it doesn’t give a shit about a any thresholds on the road. It’s the best car ever made.
Im a gen z American retro and vintage guy and i own a TPS-L2 Sony Walkman the same model from guardians of the galaxy and I love this ❤ this guy is awesome my kind of guy i would love to hang with
Arghhhhh. No! This should've been a 30 minute video. Fastest 10 minutes I've ever watched. If it wasn't so far away... Gid luck Retro-Sect awesome store.
Hey Elliot, great video! If you're filming around CRT's again and don't want that flicker effect, you can set the camera's shutter speed to 1/50 or /100 to fix that.
Not only am I pleased with the owner and the prices, but I'm pleased that there's finally a shop showcase not being hosted by a parasitic "collector" as a ploy to use their platform as a proverbial gun to their head to "haggle" for prices well below average so they can turn around and sell it for 5x the price on eBay.
What a breath of fresh air, nice prices and an honest store. I wish more people were like this!
Thank you 😊
That game store looks great 👍 🎮
I wish I had something like this less than 3 miles away. All I have less than that is a crappy GameStore with an uninterested owner that raises the price 2 times on popular games.
I was able to smell the uploader's breath through the thumbnail. 🤢🤢
Seems like a top guy being fair with the prices because hes actually into it himself, that's so rare nowadays, wish his business all the best
Thank you!
@BenStinson1 nice store and very nice cars man :) beautiful skyline that generation is so under appreciated in my opinion
It’s not rare! I’m still collecting, and I did all this thirty years ago. Sorry Ben, but if you’re not selling online too, it’s not gonna last long 😩

If only that place wasn’t half way around the world from me. I’d be there every week.
yeah me too!
I know, where u from men?
Some here
This guy and his shop is freaking awesome!!! People and and stores like this are 1 in a million
Thanks 😅👍
The M.A.N.T.A force bag in your intro is right up my street. The toys were my childhood ❤
Wow, this place looks incredible, we'll have to visit it, its not far from us!
I went there about 6 months ago. It’s truly amazing! One of a kind Retro Game Store. Truly amazing 😻
Just watched your video on it! You picked up some really cool stuff.
@@elliotcoll Aww thanks mate. Hey, keep up the good work :)
@@TheGebs24 Thank you! You too! :)
awesome looking shop and the game prices were very good. The variety of items was super and nostalgic way to keep retro alive

Prices are REALLY decent! It's also nice that you made a video about him, let's hope this way his business will able to flourish more! ❤
Elliot this is by far the most enjoyable video that you have done! I find mysekf getting excited for you when watching.

I’m not a car person but that Nissan Skyline is a god dam beauty!

If I lived in that area I would be rolling into that place all the time and hanging out. Looks like such a fun place to chill.
The fact that they also sell retro cars as well as videogames and electronic stuff is really cool!
The owner/seller seems just as rare as some of the stuff he’s selling!
This shop is the definition of "shut up and take my money!" 😁😁😁 Glad you shared it with us Elliot! (Plus the price really look down to earth, kudos to the owner for that!)
Lots of nostalgia for this 80/90s kid here
I've ordered from the store twice - both times I've had great service. Good bloke. Nice to see him getting some publicity.
I hope there is a follow up video telling us about how you went home with that GBA display stand. That place is so cool.
This store is nothing but pure AWESOME!
Feels like a place I could spend time in evreyday 🤩
wish I was closer to this place 👀
Just like when i was a kid. I spent hours playing the games for free in the store with friends. I really miss those days 😊
that was awesome, probably the best store showing I've ever seen
the prices are ACTUALLY reasonable! Wish my retro shop was like this...
LOVE THIS! Would love to see more videos of retro game store small businesses!

It's good that he isn't price gouging hardcore like other people are doing. So much nice stuff in there.
Thanks for finding and sharing this. Less than an hour away - let’s go!
That shop is beyond cool! I would spend an entire weekend in there just looking lol
What an amazing store! Love the passion of the owner!
I was the first customer there when they opened! Lovely Star Trek II Wrath of Khan LCD game watch.
Thank you Chris, I remember that! 😀👍

Amazing shop, so much to see and play. The car collection is one of my favorite ideas of the shop
I hope i can visit this place someday. Looks really awesome! Thanks for showing us this awesome Shop
That is really cool that the kiosks are playable, probably the only store in the world where you can do that

Thanks so much for the kind words 😊
More vids like this, hell it would be cool for you to check back in at this shop sometime down the line!

Glad to see this shop, it genuinely looks like a cool place to visit as someone who's a nut for the 80's

Looks like heaven to me lol Retro Gaming & Awesome 80-90's cars!
Great find, and what a strange but beautiful collection of cars. A BX, an Alipine, just bizarre. Love it though

Biker Mice from Mars, classic.
This is amazing! I can't believe something like this exists.
That car room is a dream
Can't believe there was something like this less than an hour away from my house and I had no idea! Definitely somewhere to check out ASAP!
Well done Eliot. For once you've shown a destination worth regularly visiting.
Glad to hear he enjoys the skyline himself 😂 first i was what he sells this??? Ok he keeps it. Good man. I really like this one
I've got to go to this store when I visit the UK.
omg ducktales on the gameboy cart?1 this place is a gold mine!

What a genuinely decent guy!! I’m adding this place to my bucket list
So this is only about an hour away from me... I think Ben has a new customer on his way!
I would love to take my kids to this store just to show them what gaming culture was like when I was younger.
I am going to take mine 😊 I have tried to explain what it was like when I was younger and the look on their faces when they said about buying a game and it would be complete, no updates or dlc also couch multiplayer kids just don't understand.😊
Oh nice! I've been meaning to make a video about this place, it's just down the road from Neil RMC's Cave. 😁
You should!
You'd be most welcome, Rees!

"oh and he sells cars"

Gonna fly across the pond to visit this place
That was an awesome vlog. Ty for showing it. From a fan in Canada, Terry Wolf.
What a SICK store, if I ever go to the UK, I know where I'm gettin my next SEXY CASIO TIMEPIECE!!
yo Tewkesbury representation
A friend told me about this place recently, 10mi-ish away from me, hoping to check it out eventually
This store looks amazing! The cars just top it off, definitely making a visit
Very good to hear that he prices based on sold auctions instead of maximum buy it now prices
Place looks incredible 😮
This is amazing. I have to visit this when I’ll visit the UK!
This is 90 miles from me. Time to visit Tewkesbury!
This is all I remember from the gamestore when I was 13 and so mmuch more. I kinda wanna visit
what kind of fantasy destination is this, retro gaming and alfa romeo combined. It's too good to be true
Keeps my jaw dropping at every corner of the shop, is so awesome and the prices seems legit to me... What a pity it is not in Spain 🤓
Okay this is absolutely amazing! And a skyline too?! 😍😍😍
Damn if only I lived in the uk I'd buy from him in a heartbeat If he had an online shop I'd def buy from him
I do have online too, but sadly UK only at the mo.
