I don’t really like commenting, but wow! One of the things that drew me to your channel in the first place (apart from an interest in astrology) was that, as the daughter of a very charismatic Presbyterian minister (I’m a Buddhist, if anything) I sensed so much in our experience that was parallel. I wish had followed a spiritual path far earlier in my life - I guess I’m about 30 years older than you and admire the spiritual adventures you’ve been brave enough to go for. My ‘wow’ comment is because my Dad passed away on Tuesday morning this week (made it through Easter - always the most important date in our lives when I was young, and my last words with him were on Easter Sunday - we were separated by continents, me in Europe, he in Cambridge, Mass). So the week since then has been absolutely explosive (in my head, but also in reality). Won’t bore with details, but everything is a huge question mark now ... To follow through astrologically, I am sun in Capricorn - my 4th house, since a Libra rising - and I do think that Pluto is working a bit of (VERY tough) magic. I’ve been trying to crush a bit of an astrology addiction (astrology is loathed by my husband). Thanks for further provoking thought.

Wow wow wow!!!! I just have to say that I always enjoy all of the wisdom you share with us but I do have to admit that today’s has been one of my favorites! I can relate to the need of connection and having the amazing feeling that we are part of something greater by simply living through symbols. Never before did I put it into words but today you have done that for me. I love going on daily runs/jogs/walks.. and love connecting to the universe, to earth, to the sky, to the divine, through symbols. A bird, a butterfly, a ray of sun, a tree.. I use them as symbols and fill my soul. Just last evening I took a late evening walk and was blessed to be bathed by the moonlight. I remember when I came across your Venus in Pisces video and your approach to astrology was something I didn't know I was looking for. I grew up Catholic , went to Sunday school for a while... I appreciated the devotion, symbolism I loved the word but ultimately it wasn't for me so I claimed myself to be an atheist for a few years, then agnostic, I felt myself shift abd suddenly I was unsure .I watched many of your videos until you spoke of God and the divine, and I kid you not I froze and turned the video off and didn't watch your videos for a while. It was unnerving for me to accept God and the divine as having a place in my life but I decided to keep an open mind. Months later and many hours spent listening to your content I'm so glad that I did 😊 . I feel more at peace and connected to the good and bad events in my life. I remember the first time the symbolism showed up for me... It's really nice to feel like it all has a place it takes the burden off a lil bit. Lewis has deeply influenced my thinking, and I’m in the process of returning to my Christian faith, which I don’t think my heart would be as well equipped to engage with if it were not for my immersion in astrology these past few years. Anyway, my #grabbed is that I attended Catholic mass for the first time in my life on Easter, after listening to a Catholic podcast that’s made a positive impact on me and reacquainted me with the Bible. It was a beautiful experience, and I realized I could see myself joining one of the “high church” traditions in the future. The reverent feel of the service, the gravitas of the ancient traditions, and the power of the rituals (even the many I was/am ignorant of, haha) affected me more deeply than I expected them to, as if quenching some thirst in my soul that I didn’t know was there. The sun is transiting my 4th house in a 4th house profection year, and this journey for me has been one that feels quite private at this point, since I still feel some reluctancy to identify as religious due to how problematic doing so was for me in the past.

On Good Friday, I happened to get off of work early, not because of the holiday, but because my boss had meetings out of the office and was feeling generous. In my neighborhood each year, Sacred Hearts & St. Anthony's Roman Catholic church's reenact the funeral procession of Jesus the Christ and parade through the streets with a clear, glass casket that reveals the naked, dead body of Jesus...I heard the drums and unwittingly witnessed the whole processions...it was provocative...black-clad women recited the Rosary in Italian and they mourned. The Bisphops and pallbearers...it looked like a "literal" funeral procession, but clearly it was a ritual to connect to the Divine. I went back inside and finished working on my own resurrection altar...I was in the process of painting a personalized egg with a sigil I've been working on to activate my inner personal power under the energy of that full moon in Aires...and for Acyuta to use Easter as the analogy for this conjunction is definitely a Divine message for those of us who heard it.

I've felt this tension and struggled my whole life with issues of identity (born bi-lingual and bi-cultural on a border between two countries didn't help the situation). My Scorpio rising always pushed me to find new depths and meaning in this life. I've been fascinated with Jungian teachings for many years, and I've also been a meditator for 9 years. I got in astrology this past year and it's all coming together. It all makes so much sense. I am grateful to have found astrology and your teachings. Pluto moving into Aquarius will hit my natal sun at 2 degrees while Saturn enters Pisces, signaling my Saturn return and squaring natal Pluto. I’m trying to prepare for this (ya know, being a Virgo rising) by learning all I can now, exploring natural places of sanctuary, building relationship to Other, and engaging with new teachers and acts of remembrance. It’ll be a hell of a ride I’m sure, but I think studying astrology with Nightlight and Acyuta has helped me SEE the cycles of life and understand them all as beautiful. #grabbed / sun-Pluto (between the sixth and ninth): I had to tell a former sweetie that I can’t watch his dog while he goes on a cross-country bike trip. I’d been anxiously harboring concern for a while that it wasn’t a good idea (my dog is grumpy, my boyfriend has allergies, I am already tied down by so much). He sort of jabbed back that he wished he’d known sooner, though he still has a month to find another dogsitter. Anyway, it was so unpleasant, but the consequence is that I feel tremendous relief to have that off my chest and my plate.
I found out yesterday my ex spent all the boys university funds 😳 however it’s been quite empowering and spurred us into action in other ways. The energy has been albeit challenging, very transformative.

Come on, I absolutely adore you, “Preacher’s Son”…your sermons always minister to my seeking Soul…a modern day Hierophant, you…and indeed there was a key for me in your Word today. I am learning how to read birth charts by casting them by hand using an ephemeris, a book of tables and a scientific notation calculator. Right now its taking me about an hour to cast a birth chart by hand, but in so doing, I find that I am engaging on a deep level with the symbols of astrology specifically and generally, with all symbols. I also read Cards and can’t help but hear their voices speak as well while I’m working on these charts. Identifying and interpreting aspects is a challenge for me...they really have a lot to say. I recently listened to your podcast on aspects recorded last year (“Understanding Aspects in Astrology) and the way you described the planets as “testifying” to the aspect’d planet helped my understanding tremendously! My eyes opened. In my own chart I see a semisextile grand trine with the Sun at the apex (virgo, in the 9th House…the temple virgin) sextile a Pluto/Mercury conjunction on the one hand and sextile a Moon/Saturn conjunction on the other hand. So you see how relevant your sermon here ”The Sun Square Pluto: Symbol, Ritual, and Power” is indeed an encounter with the Divine for me. I fell asleep “contemplating” this aspect last night and woke up to this Word…I logged in RUclips to listen to the Taurus Eclipse message but was directed otherwise…I’ll listen to the Taurus eclipse now…the Hierophant from the Tarot is also working on me, and the Golden Dawn associates this Major with Taurus, so let’s hear it. I am just lost 100%. I thought these April transits would transform me and be a positive. I am not experiencing these transits as many astrologers describe. I see them as very challenging at best. The same problems I’ve faced since 2019 are there with no resolution or resolve. Uncertainty is my reality. I live in this space everyday. It’s exhausting. I cannot move forward with any life goals. I’ve experienced no movement. I anticipated this Friday m the astrology. Saturn has a tight grasp and will not let go
Early acknowledgment that I was /am a deeply symbolic thinker: On a road trip when i was 18, with a beau...we drove all night (perhaps there was a hallucinogen involved) sunrise was quite cloudy... But when the sun rose above the treeline, it was blocked by a dence dark cloud which suddenly broke into 7 or 8 puffs...the rays of sunlight crashed though causing highly defined rays...beams of glorious light. "Look, it's God!" To me in that moment the symbol of devine was as important as the actuality of devine. I have noticed that my darkest days frequently offer these sunbeams. Sublime grace? Or a cloud with holes?
Sun pluto square had my head in heavy brain fog. I had to sleep most of the day even though I have some pretty major life stuff to attend to. I really used all my tools of tuning in to try to both surrender and be present to what I had to do. I was kinda scared for my brain, but I did sleep....

Come on, I absolutely adore you, “Preacher’s Son”…your sermons always minister to my seeking Soul…a modern day Hierophant, you…and indeed there was a key for me in your Word today. I am learning how to read birth charts by casting them by hand using an ephemeris, a book of tables and a scientific notation calculator. Right now its taking me about an hour to cast a birth chart by hand, but in so doing, I find that I am engaging on a deep level with the symbols of astrology specifically and generally, with all symbols. I also read Cards and can’t help but hear their voices speak as well while I’m working on these charts. Identifying and interpreting aspects is a challenge for me...they really have a lot to say. I recently listened to your podcast on aspects recorded last year (“Understanding Aspects in Astrology) and the way you described the planets as “testifying” to the aspect’d planet helped my understanding tremendously! My eyes opened. In my own chart I see a semisextile grand trine with the Sun at the apex (virgo, in the 9th House…the temple virgin) sextile a Pluto/Mercury conjunction on the one hand and sextile a Moon/Saturn conjunction on the other hand. So you see how relevant your sermon here ”The Sun Square Pluto: Symbol, Ritual, and Power” is indeed an encounter with the Divine for me. I fell asleep “contemplating” this aspect last night and woke up to this Word…I logged in RUclips to listen to the Taurus Eclipse message but was directed otherwise…I’ll listen to the Taurus eclipse now…the Hierophant from the Tarot is also working on me, and the Golden Dawn associates this Major with Taurus, so let’s hear it. All Praises. 🪐

I " literally " saw thru the beam. In a dream I saw my relationships so differently. No judgenent and nothing that needed to change. Loosely a part of it. Pluto must have transformed me. Now to see if I can hold on. Before this a bracelet that was my mother's who is passed was lost for 5 years. It showed up on the floor in my home. Hello mom.

I am just lost 100%. I thought these April transits would transform me and be a positive. I am not experiencing these transits as many astrologers describe. I see them as very challenging at best. The same problems I’ve faced since 2019 are there with no resolution or resolve. Uncertainty is my reality. I live in this space everyday. It’s exhausting. I cannot move forward with any life goals. I’ve experienced no movement. I anticipated this Friday m the astrology. Saturn has a tight grasp and will not let go

Early acknowledgment that I was /am a deeply symbolic thinker: On a road trip when i was 18, with a beau...we drove all night (perhaps there was a hallucinogen involved) sunrise was quite cloudy... But when the sun rose above the treeline, it was blocked by a dence dark cloud which suddenly broke into 7 or 8 puffs...the rays of sunlight crashed though causing highly defined rays...beams of glorious light. "Look, it's God!"
To me in that moment the symbol of devine was as important as the actuality of devine.
I have noticed that my darkest days frequently offer these sunbeams. Sublime grace? Or a cloud with holes?

Sun pluto square had my head in heavy brain fog. I had to sleep most of the day even though I have some pretty major life stuff to attend to. I really used all my tools of tuning in to try to both surrender and be present to what I had to do. I was kinda scared for my brain, but I did sleep....

I've been writing to this musician for years now (Scorpio Sun and stellium; Mars-Pluto-Saturn stellium in Leo; Jupiter at 0' Sagittarius; Moon in Pisces conjunct my Sun), since he announced he had Parkinson's, without realising why I'm doing it. I went with the flow, the main drive my empowerment and the overcoming of fear.
I've asked myself why the fascination with an elderly, or at least a very sick man; but what's more exciting than death? (I suppose George Harrison knew about it; he's Pisces with Scorpio Rising like me.)
