  • Today, I am very pleased to welcome my friend and colleague, Ari Moshe Wolfe, back to conclude the series we've been doing on ancient astrology and evolutionary astrology. In this series, we've been exploring the techniques and philosophies of these two popular schools of astrology, comparing them side by side to build meaningful bridges, deepen our understanding of each other's practices, and foster a more ecumenical vibe overall.

Love this, thank you. For me, there would be no reason to read a chart without the evolution of the soul. This was just a knowing before I knew much. Love both!

    Moon in Sagittarius
    Mercury in Taurus
    Saturn in Capricorn
    Neptune in 3rd house
Thank you so much for this episode I learnt a lot ❤

I went to a yoga ashram in 2004 for a 1 month immersion that changed my life forever. TTC 2004 Sivananda, Grass Valley, CA
Ram Das died on my mom’s birthday, Dec 22. Ironically this was the relationship I learned to heal through Ram Das.

Omg- yay. This is Neptune Venus indeed. I LOVE Ram Dass and have his chart in my stash of samples to learn from. I’m commenting even before listening. This has been a nice Venus Neptune transit on my chart’s natal Venus. I may have to send in an email for a #grabbed episode: it was literally as if people around me were grabbed to be extra sweet to me! Seriously. Venus rules my MC and I feel it is a “fortunate” placement when it is and isn’t being transited. grateful. 😊 🙏 *and I had a massage that I scheduled weeks ago not even realizing it was this weekend. 😂

It's interesting listening to this as a student in the Forrest approach to evolutionary astrology, where we would start with the south node and its ruler. So a lot of my analysis would look at Libra in the 4th and Venus in the 9th. The south node, its ruler and planets or angles conjunct both are the "who" of the soul. Planets in aspect to the nodal axis are the "what" and "where" of the soul. Of course Green and Forrest worked together closely, but their approaches diverged significantly.

This was a great series, thank you! The question I am now left with is how Hellenistic goes about answering those questions people come with like why am I here and what am I doing here. I missed the framework for that. From what Adam showed, it seemed all retrospective analysis.

    • @Adam-Elenbaas
      @Adam-Elenbaas  5 дней назад +2

Hellenistic astrologers were content to let our "purpose" be something of a divine mystery, and there was no emphasis on specific evolutionary directions or lessons necessary for growth...spiritual practice and virtue were the prescribed path for all souls and virtuous/pious living was the way to do it...it wasn't something located in the chart...the chart is more like the karma you're living in, not an instruction manual for what to do next ❤

@@Adam-Elenbaas Thank you, Adam. Your response to this question provides a very helpful, an inspiring framework. It's easy to get lost in the details of what we're here "to do"; and this reminds us that we're all here "to do" essentially the same thing. . .

Dass is interesting because he’s the good counterpart to the not so good which is Leary.
The specifics on how Pluto fits in is difficult to pinpoint because you can associate Pluto with mars and the Sun. I’ll admit, there’s a way to figure that out by what I called a planetary psyche model in this system but my experience the first round was so difficult to grasp I’m avoiding it 😂. Yes, the tie into this Christian view would be the magic squares where the squares are the 7 lords of hell that is the 8th sphere which is the physical planet (earth is a consciousness state, not the name of the physical planet) and the east has systems on working with physical incarnation in that realm. Example: wheel of life. Work with, don’t reject. My opinion is Pluto is connected to sun. 6 is considered a disharmonious number and “666” is related to the imperfections and impermanence of material incarnation and the planet/life and the 8th sphere is also the densifying of matter over time that leads to the death of the planet becoming the actual 8th sphere. Through time, the bodies become more dense and what’s called the unconscious + collective unconscious becomes more inaccessible; connections to Pluto and the unconscious in many views it’s actually the densification blocking it. In NDE’s you see those blockages being lifted for example.
I guess I can help astrologers figure out the detrimental sun cycles since it’s linked. We’d know the life of Mohammed was a story of thwarting off that cycle so you get a window on how 1 AD is an overestimate so you get a date and look back by an estimated window. The next you get the execution of the knights Templar who were bankers who innovated domestic and international banking but held true to the principles of the money changers that banking/money shouldn’t be used to take advantage of others. So they had to be exterminated and disbanded; doing so allowed trade to impoverish not just citizens in Europe but nations for colonialism and slave trade (that’s that the start). The positive is it leaves a paper trail. 1998 you go back, you get WW1 and 2 so the prediction that the U.S. was going to become the world superpower in lectures after WW1 was from following trading by investors and money through banking and who it was going to. Wanna get into “dark money”? 😝 So it’s not some short cycle, it has prolonged effects and renews a cycle and can also be thwarted.
With that above ^^^^^, that’s why there’s a caution about a spirituality that views the material as a maya or temporary to avoid social responsibility because that attitude allowed millions of innocent people to be killed and be sort of “oh well, gods plan. It’s not real anyways”. It’d be like the final confrontation with Sauron and everyone’s all “well, we all die and go to heaven so who cares? Sounds like a win-win and works out great for me.”
Those hindering would fall into squares, not oppositions, so you get a symbolism of difficulty producing strength or evolution by going through them.
It’s tough, it depends. If you take the hades myth in many hades just picked the short straw and didn’t want to rule the underworld so you get mars. But the other myths you’d associate it with a backwards Elohim as a disharmonious god of the earth whose essence is in the center. (The essence of the Elohim are in the 7 planets and Yahweh/Jehovah is the accumulation of light transferred to the moon) and Elohim are associated with the sun sphere so it’d be tired to sun. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻 Can’t avoid the painful delineation.
(FYI: spiritual sciences and physical sciences are the same ones, so the division of science and religion is also a signifier of that 6 cycle so materialistic sciences are also the triple 6) 😮 😝 figured I can go there since that also comes up. They’re the same thing but persecuting scientists was to cause that outcome of division.
