I’ve just looked at their current range…what’s happened to them? Colours dull as ditchwater and look like they have gone ‘corporate’. Will stick with my old (20yr) bag.
Gotta give them a chance. They went from cool to bland and the company almost disappeared. Now they are slowing trying to make a comeback. Not many cool brands like this around 😊😊
I agree. Even the reissue Barney Rustle messenger is lesser quality than the one I bought a few years ago. The older one uses much higher quality materials and construction. Apparently the company has changed ownership. I always loved Crumpler, and bought a lot of bags from them. It makes me sad that they’re different now. Some of their products are still good. I’m trying to pick up some of the older bags on eBay, etc.
Huge fanboy of their older bags. I use The Dreadful Embarrassment and the 5 Million Dollar home for 15 years and they look brand freaking new. I’m stocking up on used ones though, saving them for the future!
Hey, Thank you for your awesome comment. I try to make videos that may help out others so being informative is quite important. If you have a chance, grab one of the older style messenger bags, they are quite possibly one of the best messenger bags ever produced.
Hey David, the last I checked, seems like Crumpler just came back with the Comfort Zone in the classic squiggly man design. Looks like the Father and Daughter team is back to save the day. Looking forward to more of their products. The squiggly man logo really makes their product looks good

It's a pity because it was such a great brand. Not much news on Crumpler now, it had just faded into the "just another bag brand" category.
@@TheKampongKid it's back to original owners now. They bought it back. So let's give them some time to get back to their former glory.

Great video man I don’t think I’ve ever heard of these bags. You are very informative I like your videos!

Great video as always man! Was enjoyable to watch and listen :D
Thanks for the support Bro.
It’s a shame they’re not making decent messenger bags any more and got rid of their iconic logo.

Just a good thing the old bags are so damn well built, that we won’t need to buy new ones.
That being said, I’m stocking up on them for the future
