I love how much emotion is packed into this beautiful piece! I find it interesting that although the lyrics of this song talk about saying goodbye, the melody has a hopeful, expectant quality to it. A good reminder that every "goodbye" we say in life is also the beginning of a new chapter! I hope you enjoy ♥️

Wonderful! I love the glissandi! An arrangement worthy of the original Italian song, which isn't about goodbyes, but rather about the joy of traveling throughout life with the one you love. Sarah Brightman changed the one line as an appropriate song to end her concert to "Time to say good-bye," but it really means "With you, I will leave." 💖

The original lyric in italian were written to say goodbye to one that had parted, the new english lyrics are much more hopeful, they will take you where ever they go. It is now the number one top
tune used at weddings. Perhaps that they are leaving an old life and each will travel the world together. So beautiful
