I am going to join medical college this year. I have researched about usmle quite a lot and im truly overwhelmed by the amount of things i have to achieve and skills that i have to develop. I am thinking about joining classes to learn musical instruments as a hobby. Im working on my english. I have started with the 1st year subjects to get a brief idea. I just want to ensure that im always on the right track in my journey and i hope i do not get distracted like i did during my neet ug preparations. ❤

About 60% of the foreign medical graduates get the residency. Without residency you cannot practise in usa.

Do usmle journey is only for kinda rich/upper middle class family child who has connections in foreign? Actually i feel so, & it depressed me. Bcoz it's expensive, my parents will allow by taking loan but from my side I cant give them guarantee of getting match. I believe in myself but not this journey.

Im kind of confused rn. Our mbbs here is a 5 year degree in first year n second year we study ana biochem physio n 3rd year is pathology pharma etc. you should i start preparing rn (im in 2nd year) ?should i incorporate patho with physio rn ?im confused bcuz someone said that in india mbbs is 4year

Your usual prep for 1/2 year exams is good ! Standard textsbooks + the above resources used together would work perfectly
GMC Nagpur or AIIMS Nagpur ,which whould be better choice ?and any specific reason for that.

Nope, even your step 1 marks wont have ANY impact at all, just the step 2 and LORs (including research publications and your med school activities)

Very hard to say what’s enough as it is subjective. But it can be a good starting point I feel, then add on resources as per your strengths and weaknesses.
