    What a wonderful tribute! You ask yourself, "if the nomadic lifestyle" is for you. Well, that's why you're doing this, right? Melanie certainly has to be on board! I hope in time she joins you.

    And the bench with your in-laws, those quotes are fabulous! I love how you shared the memorial where you spent your 4th of July's. We all have those places that are special to us where we grew up. And you hit the proverbial nail on the head with, "It is remarkable how life moves on...." Yes. It is. Thanks for this trip Greg.

      Thanks Darin! 😊 You're always so kind to come along on my little ventures. I truly appreciate your support. The older I get the more cherished are the memories and places from my youthful days. Now, a few of those are preserved on YT. Also, thanks again for your thoughtful birthday wishes. Hope you had a wonderful Father's Day! ☺

      @@rencougzip You're welcomed with the birthday wish! We did have a fun fathers day. Was out on the lake lol! Go figure. Video coming this week. And you make an excellent point, something I never thought about, these YT videos will be great for our kids once our time has come.

      Darin, so true. We're leaving a video "book of remembrance" for our posterity with every upload. Things we found interesting, beautiful, and important, along life's journey. 😊

    Hi Greg! What a beautiful place! I just discovered your channel while looking for videos about the Napier tent. Just like you, I’m fascinated by the nomad life, but can’t afford (even more so now with these high prices) an RV or decent camper. And just like you, we love our F-150. It has taken us to many places in this great country, including Utah. Two years ago, we spend almost two weeks visiting the Mighty Five and we just loved it! I noticed you haven’t posted new videos recently. I really hope you continue taking us in your camping trips and adventures. Hope all is well with you and your beautiful family. Best regards.

      Thank you for your kind remarks! It's wonderful that you guys are able to get out and make memories with the gear your have (F-150). Those parks in Southern Utah are stunning! I'm currently editing a video about a week we spent at Lake Powell, another incredible gem. My wife says hi! Happy day! :)

    A very lovely video. I really enjoyed your camping spot and all the gorgeous scenery. And...eating your nutritious "space" food inside your tent. Cool. The tour down to your folks plots was very heartfelt and interesting. It is a wonderful tribute to both sides of your family. Thanks again for making such a lovely film. Your family will be proud. Kind regards from Australia.

      Thank you Vee! You always leave such beautiful comments. It's a joy to read them. I started with 2 hours of footage. This was a big edit job, and was still 18 minutes, longer than I wanted. Thanks for being such a wonderful supporter of the channel. Hope all is well down under! 👋😊

      @@rencougzip You are very welcome. I take great interest in how you film and put your beautiful videos together I appreciate the time it takes. I can see you put allot of work into editing (which is my biggest hurdle). We have had the most terrible storms that has pushed trees over and ruined homes. We didn't have electricity for a week and some people in the hills not far from us wont have power for 4 weeks because the tall tree damage was so extensive. Still, we live around it all and I and thankful to have the power and internet back on given the days are short and dark and we are in the midst of winter. Take care.

      Thank you Vee! I'm so sorry for the struggles y'all have been experiencing this winter 😪. I'm always impressed by your gratitude for the little things in life. It's easy to take for granted things like electricity, that is, until it goes out. Prayers from Utah! 🙏

      I agree. There's nothing like being alone in the beauty of nature, and dispersed camping gets you out, away from the campground crowds. How did you like your experience in Central Utah? Also, thanks so much for stopping by and leaving your kind comment! 🙂

    Hi Greg, I am so glad I have found your channel. I recently purchased the same tent as yours for my truck. I’m wondering how much ventilation you recommend while using your Buddy Heater? I would like to use mine in my tent as well. Keep the videos coming! Thanks!

    • @rencougzip
      @rencougzip  3 года назад +1

      Hi Brian! That's so cool about your new purchase! I've loved mine, and the great customer support from Napier. There are two small triangle shaped zippered vents on the ceiling of the tent that I keep open. I've only used my buddy heater for 5-10 minutes prior to going to bed, to take the chill from inside the tent. I'm not comfortable leaving it on while I sleep. But I'm just a rookie when it comes to indoor heaters. The heater has safety precautions built into the design. Have fun camping and be safe out there! 😊🏕
