I know it was hard with Xander sick and you gone. I think it was Gods way to show you that Nolan can handle sick kids alone and make the right decisions. You picked a good and caring man. You can do what you need to do and rest assured Nolan can handle anything!

First, Lexi's boots are adorable! So cute! Isn't it the truth how we take on these projects that seem simple in our minds, and they become this monstrosity of an issue? It's like when you watch someone who is talented in a craft and they make it look so easy, so you try, and you fall so far short, it's borderline depressing.
I am so thankful that you have such a wonderful husband. It's those hard times that make it the most meaningful.
We dropped our oldest off to college, and I was not feeling very well. I thought I was becoming anemic, which I do often. We had to cut our trip short because I was just not well. When we got home, I just was kinda blah. No energy, it was hard to eat, and after several days,I was unable to take deep breaths. I tried to go to my doctor, but they had no openings until the next day. They said to go to urgent care or to the ER. Well, my husband said, "You're having a hard time breathing. Let's just go to ER." It turned out my spleen was enlarged because my body was producing so many white blood cells because I have leukemia. They admitted me into a cancer center that day, and I was there for one month. If I had waited for the doctor's visit, it would have taken three more days to find it all out. While that doesn't seem like much, my cancer is fast growing, and I also have a few things within my genetics that make my form one of the worst forms. So, the quicker help I got, the better. It's been quite a journey, but God is so amazing and very awesome through it all.
Now that my oldest is 10 HOURS away, I have been praying for him and his health. When he gets sick, it's usually a big deal. So far, he's only had a sinus issue and a slight cold. It's hard when our "babies" get sick! I guess he's not a baby. Tomorrow, he turns 18!
Anyway, I am thankful that Nolan is the way he is because he clearly helped you in your time of trouble - of course, God had something to do with that!
I am glad all the things came together for the Wellness Collective (?). Again, God is faithful! I hope you and your sweet family enjoy a happy Thanksgiving - and please do not apologize for not being able to get a video out next week - well, you can, but don't feel bad. Your family's needs come first! 😊

You and Nolan are such an amazing couple in how you handle whatever life throws your way. Always looking for the god breezes, supporting and caring for others. Great examples of living life with patience, grace and love. Xander is following in your footsteps. Your family is a blessing, for sure!

You are the bravest, most adventurous girl I have ever seen! Beautiful work on your Java exhibit-so creative! Thank God Xander is ok. At times like that all you can do is pray. Nolan is the husband of the year! And adorable Lexi looks just like him and definitely has his winning smile. I just love your family and wish they could have been in Colorado with you-it is Heaven on earth.

My mother was in the hospital with my older brother when I got acute case of croup. My father was the one doing blue me on his own, the ambulance to the big city hospital and held me when they put in the trach. I don't remember that time, but the way my father told the story turned it into a positive adventure. My father became my hero, that night I turned blue.

There are weeks and then there are weeks..... So sorry for all you had to go through. Remembering Xander the first time you and Nolan left him with a family while you took a vacation together and how sad he was without you. Seems he handled this much better having Dad with him. Your display looks so professional! You are now set up for all the fairs and retreats and whatever! What a hectic stage. Lexi is talking! Heard her tell the pup to "Go!" Kind of good that Nolan is heading out so you can determine the pace of the coming week. Btw, I gave the decaf to my son and daughter (because I can't really do caffeine at the moment anyway), and my son loves it!!! Not too weak to him... My daughter's keurig needs to be replaced and will be soon so she doesn't know yet. All the best and God bless!

Oh, God bless you and your family. Going through an asthma attack with a child is horrible. We lived in East Harrisburg while our children were growing up. I was born there and lived most of my life there. Our 2nd child, Jeff, had breathing issues from the time he was a year old. Far too many nights, we had to rush him to the hospital for treatment and a shot of adrenaline. Yes, that very hospital, Harrisburg Hospital, was where we went. Sometimes, we went to Holy Spirit Hospital too. He played ice hockey and football until high school, but always struggled. Now, he is 56 years old and lives in Arizona. He still has issues occasionally, but his asthma is under control.
Your booth was beautiful. You and Nolan did a fantastic job.
    Praying for you.

Listening to you talk about Xander being sick while you were gone brings back memories of when my 3 oldest were small. I had to go and stay with my parents while my mom was recovering from a stroke. I took the two youngest with me and of course, my oldest got sick at home. He had bronchitis and was headed for pneumonia! Thankfully, the meds worked and he didn't need the hospital . A mom feels so helpless and I'm so glad Xander is better.

A brilliant video, with such attention to detail, accompanying music, etc. ( you choose lovely music). Scary about Xander, there isn't anything more serious than not being able to breathe. Study whatever brought it on. I don't find doctors have enough time to really figure out what caused it, you have to do that. I'm speaking from personal experience. To prevent it happening again. God bless.

When I saw the car ahead of you pulling that trailer in Colorado I couldn't help but remember the trip of you pulling the trailer by yourself across the country after Nolan's Dad died. You and Nolan are a wonderful team and Nolan is such a capable father. I would be the same and want to be back with my family.

@@theMennoniteMom Soooo very correct! We all need to pitch in and help others for the good of mankind ❤️ Random acts of kindness go a long way! I just wish more people would understand that giving (in whatever capacity one may have) is a beautiful blessing. It’s much better to give to others, in that way our hearts can be full of love ❤️

I can’t even imagine what emotions you must have gone through when you got that call from
Nolan about sweet Xander! What a helpless feeling! You do have such a wonderful husband and father to your children. I was so relieved when I saw you pull up to the hospital and Xander ran down that sidewalk to greet you. Don’t mind telling you I was shedding a few tears just watching this video. I also was concerned about you and all the stress you were under. You handled it all like a pro! Enjoy a Happy Thanksgiving with your precious family…💕💕

Thank you for sharing your story with your sweet boys ambulance ride. Our daughter just ended a serious relationship that was leading towards marriage over a disagreement in emergency medical care. She was for it and trusting God through it, he was against it since we are to trust God alone for health and abstain from the evil corrupt modern medicine. I shared this with my daughter as encouragement that there are Godly men out there who choses medical care. God Bless.

I'm so sorry she had to go thru that... 😪 I find it sad when people go down that route and take things to the extreme... God has blessed us with doctors, and while there is much I don't agree with in the medical field, I'm still so grateful for all they can do for us.
