I have an 10 + 11v train controllers, and I've used 12v Adapters all the time, with no issues... I also measured the output voltage of all 6 of mine, and max power can vary a bit too.. ranging from 9, to 11v . Something to be aware of, when trying to run a finicky GBC module! :)
