Care sheets blind people to the signals their animal is sending. Egg and body condition and behavior are what is worth learning. It's like making bread, dough condition matters more than measurements because real life has more factors than can fit on a care sheet or recipe. Have you seen a care sheet for a dog, cat or baby human? That sounds silly for good reason. Care sheets don't even work consistently for plants.
This episode probably saved my ackies life. There was so much misinformation on RUclips on their care. My ackie had layers of stuck shed, after watching this months ago I dried out my enclosure with great results. The shed came peeling off, thank you both 🙏
Brandon was my high school science teacher, he also ran a fishing club and did very well with it. Great guy all around. Also gave me a love for Alice in chains 😂
I grew up in Oshawa, that PJ’s in the Pickering town center actually had some crazy stuff back in the day! The Blue tree monitor i got from Brandon is gorgeous. Very great guy to deal with! And on the humidity issue. When I lived in Ontario I could lightly mist once a day and keep a nice humidity. Living in Alberta I have to have my mister come on for 4 minutes a day just to keep 40-60% humidity. And PLEASE COME OUT WEST for the expos!!!!
Brandon is an awesome guy and he has such a great reputation in the community. I've had a few people from Canada contact me for monitors and I've sent them all to him without even thinking about it. 1:18:35 I saw a lot of fake Canadian Coldblood profiles pop up but most got banned from the Facebook groups fortunately. I had one follow me and went to report it only to find out it was actually the real one. It's pretty awesome that he follows and supports the little people all over the world.
Amazing Mannnnn ,,,, well done ,,, nice to learn something new like woah ,,, Especially on the food making the lizard even more colorful ,,,, interesting ,,,, Just imagine if that would work for the snakes '
I missed this earlier so I’m watching this now ! I have a Savannah & a peach throat monitor. I’ve had white throats in the past also. Peach throats are somewhat similar to the tree monitors….as far as care & husbandry from what I’ve learned. They are just as intelligent as the tree monitors as well. I would love to have a tree monitor at some point ! They really are next level & are the pinnacle of monitor keeping ! 😊🤩

I’ve always wanted to hear him talk more about his monitors after I saw a facility tour on RUclips, great guest invite!

When you do, get it from Brandon! His animals are gorgeous and he is a pleasure to deal with.
