Getting some perspective about the decisions leading to the call makes me appreciate being selected more. And makes me care about the watch more! For everyone who didn’t get the call, you know?

Oh absolutely! It's why I found the topic so fascinating, but also why it was so difficult for me to answer it myself 😅

It’s quite a feat hosting such an outspoken actual Rolex AD. I don’t see where any RUclipsr was successful hosting such.
The Roman Sharaf one is fake*
    Well done, once again, mate👌🏽

Means a lot, thank you! I think it's important to have open and honest conversations - there's so much to learn and to explore, and the primary goal is to have fun and enjoy our shared hobby :)

Great episode James! The decision making on who gets the call can actually create some dilemma. But my experience in Switzerland is, it’s all about whether the AD likes you and/or you have a great buying history. Especially boutiques or very big ones like Bucherer think in these terms. My Omega AD (no Rolex though) is awesome but watches from Rolex are much tougher to get if you are not a 100k spending customer. a good story doesn’t help at all. Zurich is just too rich

Thanks again for listening 🤗 I try to have interesting topics and guests, and so far have been having a ton of fun with the podcast project 🙌
It’s really interesting to see how each respective establishment handles these sorts of dilemmas. I’ll say this much, I hope to one day visit Switzerland and experience it first hand 😄👍
