I just came across this Video and can't believe I missed it back when you posted it😧 I have been going there ever since the price was $3.99 for the steak Dinner! It was never great but it was GOOD. The biggest thing was the Green Beans they never tasted the same twice!!😁 And you are right it is STILL the best deal in Las Vegas!! Thanks!!

Dinner on Eddie! I love seeing reasonable prices and the fact that good deals can still exist. Also, have you ever experienced so much rain in Vegas?
Even tho it wasn't the best steak ever, I'd go back a few times just to frequent a spot that keeps great prices. The wind has been so frustrating. I like to run outside but I hate running in the wind. At least it wasn't as cold as last year though.

The players card also gets you $3.00 off your BBQ dinner which is one of the best in Vegas. The $26.99 prime rib dinner is the star of the show. No coupon needed for that. The Village pub prime rib rivals any high dollar prime rib in Vegas. I started having it back in the day when it was a modest $9.99. It's worth every penny of the $26.99 today.

I love Ellis Island and if you stay at Bally/Horseshoe the food court entrance is a very short walk to Ellis Island. We ate here every day over any place on the strip.

Hello from San Antonio, great video! My wife and I do this deal once a visit, can’t beat it for a nice steak breakfast. Add a beer flight where they have samples of all the in house brewed beers and that’s a great way to start the day. Take care, 🤙.

I always get the prime rib there and have never been disappointed. The whole atmosphere is great there. The food, staff and gambling is perfect for me. The video poker at the bar is good and the staff always kept the drinks coming. Glad to see they are expanding.
Yum for prime rib! Have you had it at El Cortez? That's another deal meal I want to try.
@@Dani702 Yes, I had it last year. It is not a huge portion like you get at Ellis Island, but it was still a pretty good meal. I think it was about $16 or so on special. Worth a try! 🙂

I’ve been to Ellis several times. Overall one of the best deals in the city. They don’t charge for parking, the steak deal is hugely popular and a great deal, slots are lose and the brewery is very cool.

It was! At least for the price. Honestly was better with my BBQ sauce the next day but I have zero complaints at $9.99 and a decent meal that filled me up.

Definitely agree with the 5 or 6 out of 10. In all of my visits there I may have had 1 that was an 8 out of 10. I'm definitely not complaining for $9.99. Now take us to the BBQ.

we had a pretty good meal for the price...when our plane got in very late, the front desk of the Dessert Inn recommended the Village Pub for our 4am hunger pains. Worked for us.
Hell ya! I'd same the same. Not the best ever but a damn good deal. I was satisfied and even had leftovers. Can't complain with those prices.

They do exist (good deals). Far and inbetween but they are out there.
Good Video Love Ellis Island , best Prime Rib in Vegas , not as cheap as prime Rib on Fremont but way better quality and portions...Can't beat it ....

I like the 999 meal like HENRY FORD and his race with his car 999 driven by barney oldsfield and FORD hanging on the running board turning corners and winning. He said that race was do or die for his company. He needed the win to be funded and it happened and there is a FORD COMPANY TODAY. Dang your about the 3rd person to mention to prime rib. Now I'll have to go back. The BBQ keeps getting suggested too. That's so great they are doing so well while keeping good prices around.
@@Dani702 my prime rib cost me $48 bucks out the door here in Minnesota last Friday. I think it was under $30 out the door there at Ellis Island. I will be back there the next time I’m in Vegas.
I've made it a point to try and stay at Ellis Island or El Cortz for my 15+ visits to Vegas over the last few years. I work for a U.S. Major Airline so the ride to & from is free. When the next door Motel was a Super-8 the Rooms could be had for under $30 bucks if you booked ahead.
A favorite Perk of the Ellis Island experience was always the In-House Brewery. During most my stays, if you Blackjacked a hand at the table, they'd offer you a Free Tall Beer, and that stuff was always Pretty Stony (high ABV). Excellent location, easy Strip Access, plenty of Off-Strip Restaurants nearby and the Airport wasn't far away either. The BBQ Restuarant was always a Fav w/ an In-House Brew. 🤪
That sounds like a good trip! Hah. Great retro Vegas vibes at both. I love El Cortez. I've seen a few price raises recently there so it's nice to see Ellis Island keeping it low.
@@Dani702 Yea, from EI you could walk across the street and you're at the back door of Bally's (now the Horseshoe) and enjoy the "Strip" experience w/o a car. So, for most my trips I would rent a Car & Room or Suite.
What worked best was to reserve a Room about 2 months out along w/ the Car. Auto Rental rates Always went up the closer you got to your scheduled visit, so renting the car ASAP always paid off. But reserving Rooms/Suite's didn't work that way. All the big E-Commerce Hotel outfits would make contracts to "pre-sale" rooms for all the major Hotels/Motel's/Resorts ahead of time. So, you reserve a room well ahead of time w/ a 24 hr cancellation guarantee and then start looking again every day starting about a week before your visit. If one of these Room reservation websites has a deadline to meet and too many rooms that went unreserved, they'll start dumping the price on the Rates. Just grab one of these discounted rooms and cancel aany previous reservation. I got a Fully appointed Apartment Suite at a Secured Resort and a Mercedes Convertible one time for $35 bucks a day one and several other deals close to that just by using the method described here. Good Times ! 🤣

Most likely a midweek price. I don't remember off the top of my head what day but I do remember seeing a few higher prices which most likely was weekend.

That's hard to say. I think you'll get a different answer from different people. Some have said they walked it. I think I'd feel find if it's still light out. But I also feel fine in DT with daylight by myself.
