AAAAAAA SEEING KINGDOM HEARTS IN THE DISNEY PARKS WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! There are so many different possibilities I can think of, a Gummi Ship attraction would be super cool, and having whole areas modeled after a world like Twilight Town would be absolutely incredible, a Kingdom Hearts cafe would be incredible too!!!

I kinda wanted to ask how would a certain Kingdom Hearts themed land work. Like Twilight Town’s world has a never ending evening sky and Traverse Town’s sky is pitch black. Our natural sky’s daylight could ruin that immersive feel of being in the actual game world, but does it matter?

@@quinnhouk5369 I don’t know. Main Street USA is supposed to be base a small town in 1900’s. I don’t think a Kingdom Hearts themed store would be appropriate for the area. It could work in Fantasyland though since that’s where a lot of the Disney fairytale characters and locations that appear in the KH games are located

I remember going to WDW in 2008 and finding copies of KH2 being sold in stores on Main Street. There were also Kairi and Axel figures being sold in the Japan region of Epcot during that trip too.

The keyblade in the chip n Dale movies wasn't in an evidence room, it was in a lab that the villain was using to create bootlegged cartoons.
Since soras hair and keyblade were there I think it's safe to say he'd been bootlegged.
I actually had a vision of a ride for Disney one time. You ride in a Gummiship and go through a clip show of KH. The important moments anyway throughout all the games and you’re on a track going through a tunnel with clips of all the games playing around you. That’s all I have so far

They could add small kingdom hearts references in other areas. Heartless themed like the different park areas, keyholes hidden away
ngl i would love a part of the park designed after a OG KH world (destiny islands, traverse town, twilight town, radiant garden, Land of Departure, the world that never was, or scala ad caelum)

looking at the new nitendo theme parks if you could just wander around the traverse town and meet characters and go to shops itd be so insane, shopkeepers in moogle hats and maybe even final fantasy characters could show up
Currently at Disney World right now and my fiancée and I are cosplaying as Sora and Kairi! There’s so many people there that love KH there and I wish there was more KH related items there.

Especially if you could customize it a lot, as the keychains everyone uses are either themed after a world or a character (Oathkeeper and Oblivion work for KH2 Roxas because Dark and light, but also Heatless and Nobody.)
I would love it if they started doing a secret build-up to it, having some sneaky individuals on rare occasion don the Organization robes with a full black face cover to hide their identities like in the games, wandering around the parks yet not being overly obvious, like not trying to be as obvious as the other mascots wandering around. Finding one and getting to talk to them would have them ask you a question about Kingdom Hearts, and if you got it right, they'd hand you a Chain of Memories styled card depicting one of various iconic and memorable moments, worlds, or characters throughout Kingdom Hearts' existence.

A kingdom hearts park would be so cool! The one thing that hasn't been mentioned yet (probably) that I would add, is the treats and snacks like the sea salt ice cream or even a souvenir shop with all of the accessories and armor throughout the games! Like the mage ring, Armour belt, earrings, and necklaces. And I also would love an idea of a keyblade maker where you could make your very own keyblade! That'll be so cool!
That would be a fantastic idea! The only thing is they would have to take out the ones that reference Final Fantasy as Square owns that property so it would have to be Disney type of rings.
I remember way back when I went to Disney World, I wanted to cosplay as Sora when I went into the parks, especially Magic Kingdom. So videos like this definitely pique my interest as a Disney and Kh fan. I'm all for KH representation at Disney theme parks. A Traverse Town or Twilight Town area would be great with like a gummy ship ride or roller coaster of sorts mimicking the one in KH3. Idk man, anything KH themed in Disney World and other Disney parks just sounds awesome as hell. I'd love to see it happen, especially since KH has been out for so long and has many fans who are also probably Disney fans as well.
And speaking of video game references, and yes, I have said this before, but I'm trying to spread this game around for fans of fighting games because it deserves the attention.
There is a fighting game that is known as Skullgirls and one of the characters has a color palette of KH3 Sora. Her name is Eliza.
Not to mention the Egyptian lady (if her name is Eliza) has her two lackies colored to be Donald and Goofy palettes.
I’ve been to the Disney parks, mainly Disneyland, for a lot of my life. I remember seeing many things related to kingdom hearts. I just didn’t know what it was at the time. Some part of it- as weird as it sounds- found me in a dream. Like a memory of me watching cutscenes the late at night. I remember searching endlessly until I found it. And I sat though the whole thing of kingdom hearts 1. It was magical. And the thought of seeing something like a ride, cafe, anything really for Kingdom Hearts puts a genuine smile on my face. ❤ I would love to see a re-creation of the places we visit in game, like Traverse town! It was be magical.
There needs to be kingdom hearts ride that just kind of let's you be able to see the different areas of the park. Like you're visiting their "world's".
Honestly I can see it being successful idea. Would totally love to ride a gummi ship, build a Keyblade or buy a Struggle Bats, watch a 3D screening into the KH universe through its history or whatever, or just passing by the graveyard of keyblades and admiring the view of characters, hearing the kh music plays throughout the KH-themed area, eat some blue sea salt ice cream with actual redeemable prizes on the popsicle sticks, maybe collect munny just like how you do it with the new super mario land, collect cards throughout the park (chains of memory designed), go through rides and watched the attraction filled with Dream Eaters and able to also buy them (figurines to stuffed animals), walk into the entrance designed as a giant door with the keyhole, explore a replicate traverse town area and ride the train around it, enjoy a parade of monsters and friends come to life, watch the night lights of KH themed at night (the sparkles and magic of fireworks & music & hologram), watch a cute show of moogles perform, play arcade or prize games to get them many-possible designed of moogles!, explored Destiny Island just like how they did with Tom Sawyer at Magic Kingdom, see all the disney characters from the KH series all over the KH area, look up to see the clocktower to see the timer because my phone died, and so much more ideas for this possible attraction for Disney World. My inner child would be so happy and complete, this is for me not the kids lol. (ok they're coming).
I always think about a Castle Oblivion ride, similar to Haunted Mansion. Or maybe the Organization XIII during the NSSH parades, a bunch of members dance, Xemnas on top of a vehicle, while Roxas, Xion and Axel in the back of a vehicle that Xemnas is standing on are eating ice cream. Fantasmic should replace that generic sword when Mickey fights a dragon with a Keyblade. Anything is possible. I live in Miami (which is 4 hours away from Orlando where Disney World is)
The only place where I’ve seen Kingdom Hearts related merchandise at Disney is in Japan at EPCOT. Thing is, most of the stores in each respective country in EPCOT are not actually owned by Disney but a separate company. So it could be more that this “company” decided it would be a good idea to sell Kingdom Hearts merchandise than Disney being the one behind it.
Need some real sea salt ice cream, gummiship roller coasters, and Moogle gift shops. 👌🏾

Imagine a Kingdom Hearts themed section being in construction in Disneyland Japan, Disneyland California, and Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Orlando where the land is similar to Super Nintendo World but its Kingdom Hearts themed. Just imagine yourself getting your own keyblade exclusively for that section.

I like the idea. Having KH mascots would be cool too. It would be be great if they also performed the "taking" of their keyblades with the younger visitors. Much like Terra did with Riku or how Aqua did with Sora (If those who know about Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep know what I mean).
Unpopular opinion: due to Star Tours not being in Galaxy’s Edge in both parks, just turn it into a Gumi Ship ride. The inside queue could be Chip and Dale’s Workshop and the outside (at least for Disney World) be Traverse Town. I don’t know how it would work in Disneyland however, with it being in Tomorrowland.
Having Kingdom Hearts in Walt Disney world would almost make up for taking down DinoLand USA. ALMOST.

For a moment I thought Sora was flipping the bird in the thumbnail. I LOVE the Kingdom Hearts series, and they do deserve more representation at the Disney Parks.
There's an interview about Sora's inclusion in smash bros where the woman getting interviewed mentioned that the higher-ups were gonna pass on it cause they aren't really aware of the video game space and don't realize how big smash bros actually is so she actually pushed for Sora's inclusion and if I remember correctly, she got more support from younger people working at Disney from there which got Sora to get included or at least helped pave the way for it. (though Nomura was also very picky about the inclusion cause he wanted to find some lore-friendly way to introduce sora into smash cause of course he would.)
I feel like Kingdom Hearts is probably in the same situation here where higher up execs and stuff who do all the planning and whatnot at Disney worlds just aren't aware of Kingdom Heart's popularity and how big this franchise actually is so they don't really think or care about it so there isn't that much Kingdom Hearts stuff in Disney Worlds.
You know that motorcycle rollercoaster they have at "the part of Universal Studios I won't name because the lady connected to it sucks"? I want one like that but you're riding on the transformed keyblade motorcycles. That would be sick as hell.
That store we find licensed KH merch (not Disney Parks branded pins/D-Tech On Demand phone cases, Magic Bands, magnets) is called Mitsukoshi in the Japan pavilion of EPCOT. It’s common to see figures in the glass cases behind the front registers and shirts hung up for sale there. We also currently have a print for sale with Kingdom Hearts Donald and Goofy at EPCOT for the Festival of the Arts running until February 20, 2023.
My anime that I hope one day will come to life is inspired by kingdom hearts I love this series and the characters so much it’s so magical. Awesome vid bro !

It's very possible that Disney could implement Kingdom Hearts in their parks in someway especially since Nintendo is working together with Universal Studios.

TL;DR: Kingdom Hearts was not the first Disney franchise that Disney ignored. But now that it got popular, there may be a chance, but I'm not holding my breath.
I remember back when the argument was about if Sora was a Disney or Square character. Back then, I was one of the folks that thought Sora was an original Square character. My reasons were that why hasn't Sora been featured in other Disney media like House of Mouse for an example. But now, as I realize that Sora is a Disney character throughout, I also came to realize that Kingdom Hearts is not the first franchise that Disney did not really care at all until it got the attention. There were other Disney franchises that got left in the dirt. Like The Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, there was even another original Disney game other than Kingdom Hearts. It was called Spectrobes. Remember that game? I think it had like two games and then nothing else. So yeah, that was my reason as to why I think Sora was an original Square character. But now I think Kingdom hearts will have a chance to be at Disneyland or other media since it got so much more popular now than before.
Kinda off topic, but there was original going to be a ride (a roller coaster) themed to Atlantis in Magic Kingdom, but the idea got scrapped due to the over spending of Disneyland Paris I think

I went to Disneyland last year and I tried to find anything KH related but they had nothing. Just 50th anniversary stuff. But some of the employees knew what I was talking about cause I asked them and they also saw my shirt
there is a disney pin you could get there that is mickey in the organisation cloak, due to not all employees knowing KH some might say it's something star wars related so it's 50/50 it is cool when someone does notice though
Add a gummy ship coaster behind the Japan pavillion in epcot where you ride through different worlds chased by heartless or something. There is always a demand for thrill rides at Disney. I'm kinda surprised Tokyo Disney hasn't done something already, to be honest.
So at Super Nintendo World you are basically playing in a real life game by using the Power-Up Band and an app. Maybe Disneyland should do an AR game where Keyholes are hidden across the park and you have to unlock them all.
Ok, I live literally 15 minutes from Disney World, and I have for a long time, so I know where you (used) to be able to buy KH merch!!
Here’s what I’ve seen:
At EPCOT there’s Mitsukoshi in the Japan pavilion which used to sell KH figures, but those are gone now. They also used to sell a KH hoodie and shirt, and the hoodie is sold out. No KH merch besides that shirt, sadly :(
At Downtown Disney when KH3 was about to launch, they opened a pre-order booth in October or December 2018 for the pre orders of the deluxe edition, and ended sometime before the release of Frozen 2 in February, I think? This was actually the way I got into the series!
At all parks once in a while they may sell pins, like a King Mickey pin, a pin of the logo of the games, and a pin of Sora, Donald, and Goofy, I think? I saw these at Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom (for magic kingdom it was in the emporium, Hollywood Studios it was this weird store that looks like a camera? I don’t really remember the name lol) and they have done promotions around the parks for KH3. Of course, there’s also the Marketplace in Downtown Disney which might sell KH stuff sometimes. Right now it’s Marvel stuff so I really know what order they go in. They might add some stuff in the gift shop for Tron, which used to be Space Mountain’s gift shop. I don’t think they’ve ever sold KH magic bands.
This is just down here in Florida, so I can’t say for California.

Awhile back, my friends and I went to Disney World and we SCOWERED the park for even a crumb of merch. We found... A King Mickey pin. That's it.
I’ve been going to Disney world since i was born!!! And it would be sooooo amazing to see kingdom hearts at Disney world. Imagen a traverse town with a shop, quick service and a sit down restaurants. Then a trackless gummy ship ride similar to run away railroad or ride of the resistance or even that Mario kart ride at universal Japan. Where in the ride you get in a gummy ship ride vehicle and go between different KH world starting at traverse town then hoping to a couple of Disney worlds then ending at someplace like the keyblade graveyard. That would be so amazing

Honestly, I would love to see them release plushies based off the heartless or even the "buddies" of D.D.D.! But as for the parks themselves; an area similar to that of Traverse Town or the Town in KH2/3 would be amazing to see! Maybe even have a little section playing some of disney's oldtime mickey mouse (and non-Mickey) cartoons like in KH3.

I think we have to get Disneys attention that we would really want a Disney attraction at one of the Parks either a social media campaign or a petition with like 100k-500l signatures to show them alot of ppl would be interested in Kingdom Hearts and Disney would have a reason to do that.
Tbh with how well nintendo is doing with thier partership with universal with the mushroom kingdom it should drive square enix to consider doing something similar in a disney park.

This is a long shot but I would love for them to make a kingdom hearts riding attraction.
Guest are taking on the role of learning how to be keyblade wielders. They go on the ride that takes them to one of the three worlds. The worlds would be Olympia, imagine taking on all the bosses there including cloud (though I doubt that would happen) San Frantokyo (imagine teaming up with the big hero 6) and Twighlight Town.
The riding system can be like the transformers 3d ride or it like soarin.
I think the thing is that Disney needs to see Kingdom Hearts as a profitable franchise because with the shutdown of interactive studios, because something like the inclusion of the intimate moments in WoC or Fantasmic would really set the stage of KH being at the Parks! The parks should also play music from the games like afternoon streets or lazy afternoons I think small things like this would really make me appreciate being a KH fan and a Disney parks fan.
the odds of seeing anything like an attraction or something big and permanent for KH is slim to none considering that SE is the primary owner of the game license and Franchise. The addition of Disney Characters was done in collaboration with WDS and, essentially, Disney required SE to show them the work before it could be published to make sure things are up to their standards.
In order for something like a Gummiship ride or even a permanent restaurant to come to the Disney parks, Disney would have to strike a deal with SE about who gets how much of what profits and, seeing as both are for-profit companies, I really doubt they will settle for a 50/50 split.
TLDR; don't count on anything other than special event showings of the characters or promotional events like the KH3 preview ever happening
Disney is biased more towards what young kids with families will recognize. It’s why you keep seeing Frozen and Marvel expansions rather than Kingdom Hearts stuff. Tokyo Disney isn’t owned by the company so they have the freedom to cater more to adults.
I think it would be amazing for them to be added... but all I want is to meet Axel! He is my favorite and to see him at a park would be nice... but then again a long leather coat in Florida or CA would be so hot...

As much as what you talk about would be wonderful to see in the parks. Unfortunately, Disney as a company is not doing so well financially that having said attractions, etc would be a pipe dream at this point. Until things get straightened out Financially and Creatively the chances of this becoming a reality soon are slim to none.

I do think one reason Disney never fully does something with KH is Nomura. Je must have some Form of copyright to the series is the creator,and he ofcours has his lore and plot in minde and therfor anythibg he isnt part of,has potentiel to confuse people if it is part of the lore or not.

I could go for a gummy ship on rails shooter ride and a KH café that sells food seen throughout the games like sea salt ice cream or Flantastic 7 pudding, and of course I want to buy merch too.
I always thought it was the other way around where Disney is so protective of their IPs that they don't like the mixing of properties that KH does with their characters and FF characters in with Disney characters. Hence why KH3, as amazing as it was, felt like it was held back a little by corporate meddling from Disney. Square loves it when they can dip their hands and feet into that big Disney pot of money and do KH collabs but Disney wants everything a certain way that it's either a limited thing in U.S. parks or confined to the Japanese parks.
The main hub before getting to any rides should be traverse town or the galaxy. But I think traverse town hub and the path ways being Galaxy themed to lead to certain themed rides would be amazing. There HAS to be a gimmi ship ride to shoot as many enemies as possible.
I would love a Kingdom Hearts ride at Disneyland, especially if it was possible to build your own keyblade at the end. That would be so cool! 🤩

Dude it would be so cool to have Kingdom hearts at the Disney parks not to mention also on the cruises that would be so awesome!
I was at Disney World earlier in the month and the only Kingdom Hearts merch I could find was two Disney pins, a phone case and two magic bands (have to make these at the kiosks) and a single shirt inside the Japanese Store in EPCOT. Kind of sad we can't get a darn plastic keyblade even, let alone an attraction of some kind ( Both would be amazing and extremely popular but Disney obviously hates money)

It would be cool to have traverse town at Disney world but in magic kingdom and have be somewhere to eat and chill and whenever kids get lost of something and security finds them they will escort the kids to traverse town and have the parents pick them up there
Is wanna see Traverse Town or maybe some kind of reference?? Like a Papou Starfruit Smoothie or maybe a rollercoaster/animatronic ride where you fight with Sora against Organization 13 🎉🎉🎉🎉
If it were to be a ride it should be a gummi rail shooter like KH2 (cuz KH2 had awesome gummi mission gameplay), but if it were to be an attraction I want a pretend mark of mastery test where I get to leave with my own keyblade

I think that part of the issue in terms of Disney not being able to because of Square is because of Namura saying anything is canon if it involves KH.
Disney apparently wanted Sora in Smash badly even back in Wii U/3DS days, but Namura didn’t want him in back then since it wouldn’t fit in the KH canon. So it could be the same thing here of he dosent want it messing up canon if they add a theme park ride or attraction.
Ik it’d be dumb to consider every single thing your series is involved with is canon, but that’s apparently how KH is treated.
Considering hes in ultimate now maybe things will change slowly but surely
