- When we had the Everest Sport we thought it might be all the bakkie one needs, delivering the power as and when needed, not overly assisted through advanced driver assistance systems and has the hardcore grunt one needs in an adventure SUV. This has a great party piece though , the 3.0L V6 is just too good and shows its prowess just from the minimal vibrations and noise when you start it. The XLT 4x4 Bi-Turbo starts at +/-Rxxx000 and the one showed in here is specced to +R1224 995. Sport might be all you need but this is the one you want.

This car is beautiful. And it sounds very comfortable.
The 3.0L sounds very smooth and I think it works well with the Everest as you expect an SUV to be like this. The 2.0L can be a little too loud for the Everest but amazing for the Ranger

Yoh my brother. This thing is beyond refined compared to the 2.0L, I feel that the 3.0L Ranger may be a little too quite for a bakkie but in here it fits so perfectly, the 2.0L Everest is a little heavy honestly.🤔

How’s the fuel consumption on the v6? Especially compared to the Bi-turbo 2litre, is the difference more than 30%?
Well, we talk around 13L/100 and 2.0L does around 11-12L to the 100km

I think the V8 in SA has never really been a good one for a "mass market" seller like Ford. Considering that it will be targeted at a selected few, Ford produces high volumes and the Raptor can easily sell the same numbers as the Wildtrak with the current pricing. As much many people buy these things, not many can afford the fuel consumption that comes with the V6 petrol, imagine the V8 yoh. I think this is good for big famalies but the versatility of the Ranger is something else compared to the SUV.
