I grabbed the previous printing of this volume ($100 MSRP) from 2017 about two years back. No "product of its era" disclaimer I could find in that one, either. I'm thinking DC probably just updated the copyrights and the publisher credits and called it a day.
Also of note... This printing of Vol. 1 and the 2017 printing have 14 additional issues not included in the original omnibus printing!
yeah I have that og ones from 2011 and they have seemed to split them up much differently with these new ones!
Maybe an upgrade is in order! You can still bridge the gap before Hard Traveling Heroes comes out! 😮
Good overview! The original slimmer Omni was my first Omni around 2011.

Well, my son wanted to watch this overview with me. He seems to be quite interested in the Hall Jordan version of GL because one of our friends, whom he has a great connection with, really likes Hal Jordan's GL as well. Also, a few days ago, I found a still shrink-wrapped copy of the 75 Years of the Green Lantern hardcover for 27 dollars. We, of course, bought it ! Anyway, thanks for yet another Silver Age collected editions overview of these wonderful books !

I grew up with Hal so he's my favorite! The O'Neil/Adams #76-90 is my favorite run. I bought those off the newstand and they blew my mind as an 11-12 year old lol!!

@@Kai-GonJinn yeah you will def get that run in the omni - I assume that will be at the beginning of the book! I'm interested in what else will be included in that omni - it's really thick!
Another fine overview, Jess 👍 If you did or might still own the 2017 edition, did you you notice any detectable difference in the binding, paperstock, or build size with this edition? Asking because I’m in interested in upgrading if this one happens to feature superior binding and a slimmer build.

that's a great question! I think the modern reader should probably start with Johns and GL/GA
