He already confirmed it recently, said last year he was working on solo album, I’m sure pandemic delayed it but id fully expect and new album from Jerry this year. Cant wait Deg trip is fuckin incredible

This is truly monumental. That sound you hear...is the sound of Jerry Cantrell stepping down off the pedestal he (tried to) share with Layne, and stepping into a new "Brighten'd" chapter of life of his own making. To give up the guitar that was on everything he'd ever done musically--with all the good/bad/ugly memories--was a HUGE step. It meant he was healing and moving on. And God bless him for it. Love ya, Jerry. What a ride you've had. ❤💔🎸👍🙏🎸❤💔

I bought the Miniature version from Axe Heaven,It is so accurate it's crazy.
Probably a dumb question - If that guitar is under glass in MoPop museum, how does Jerry keep using that 1984 G&L to record new music like his new solo album??? Expecting Gibson to release a new Cantrell model as part of his brand sponsorship soon. Jerry mostly played a black Les Paul custom at his 2019 solo shows in LA.
He calls the museum and tells them he needs the guitar back. They ship it to him and when he's done he ships it back to them. He recently talked about just that in a radio interview.
I’d read that it had a crack down the body or something and he doesn’t tour with it any longer, but he does still use it in the studio.
