Zapdos-Galarian was one of the most prominent threats in the Generation 8 but ever since being buffed in Generation 9 with Knock Off and Tera Blast it still finds itself in a pathetic placement compared to last generation

It’s truly not terrible. It’s just outclassed by other fighting types like Quaquaval, Hawlucha, Zamazenta, Great Tusk, and Iron Valiant. Power creep turned solid mons that can remain OU-UU staples for the foreseeable future into underwelming mons in higher tiers.

havent watched it yet but im assuming power creep has even effected gen 8 pokemon lol

I think Tera hurt Gapdos more than it benefited it. Look at NatdexUU, where Tera is banned. It was by far the best scarfer and fighting type. But when Tera is in the picture it struggles to deal meaningful chip damage for its teammates, as they can Tera out of their U-Turn/CC/BB weakness and Gapdos doesn’t benefit from Tera as well as you might think

That's a Good Point. I didn't realize it was because Tera was banned in lower tier Nat Dex
