People were tougher back then and they hustled. As a young boy ,I saw many similar fires &watched dedicated men working to save lives and property.

Hi, my name is Kristine and I am from the Plainville Historical Commission, at about the 22:40 mark this collection shows fire trucks leaving Plainville Fire Station for a hay barn fire. The commission has it's own channel here on RUclips where we post history of Plainville Videos. I'm currently working on a new video that will discuss the history of Plainville Town offices and Public Safety. I'm hoping to use the part of the Plainville section with the trucks leaving the station in our video. I will give full credit to your Video collection, include a link to your page and this video in our description if that is okay with you. Plainville is in preparing to open a new public safety building and town offices next month and the old buildings, including the one featured in this video, will be closed to face an unknown future. Videos like this preserve the history that is in danger of being lost so thank you so very much for sharing this collection and please let me know if I have the okay to use the clips. I use Screencast to create the videos so I wouldn't need to download the video, I would simply have to open this page and show the clip while recording, but I do not want to do so without permission.
