Yeah, that's what in my mind of how many of those who cancelled the ride because they're allergic to dogs. I thought in real life that many Americans are allergic to pet furs. This video proven me wrong. More power Bowie!❤❤❤

I drove a mini-van taxi one summer during college (before Uber existed, it sucked) but return customers who schedule in advance every week were the best. Otherwise it was a lot of waiting at the train station to try to get customers while competing with a bunch of other taxi drivers.
Private clients are my favorite part of my job, most of them prefer not to be on the show, but it’s really nice to have scheduled rides that you don’t have to wait around for. There’s a lot of taxis out here in Denver around the airport and at big events, it seems like all they do is wait around. I don’t know how they make money 😂

Taxi drivers in NYC can make good money, but the medallion (permit) you need just to be able to operate is expensive as hell and only lasts 2 years. Uber and Lyft made the demand drop like crazy, along with the price. I think it's like 70k or so right now, but it was as high as 1 million in 2013. I don't know how the renewal process works, but I know you're not paying that same price again. It's usually a long term investment.
