    Another thing that makes Venoms and especially Raiders super useful is for travelling between webway gates. You only pay the influence cost for the transport, not for anything mounted on it, so it makes it simple to move large numbers of troops around very quickly.

    I'd add that investing into combat drug tech does wonders in the late game when all infantry can use them.

      This makes the heroes *significantly* stronger; although I don't really agree with the OP that the heroes are particularly weak. The Archon and Succubus can absolutely hammer units.

    Its so rare to find gameplay that shows understanding of the game. Almost all gameplay vids on youtube are complete and utter noobs with nothing for you to learn other than they are terrible at playing the game. I swear most of them never played the game before. I have no interest in watching someone learn the game, the hard way. So thank you very much Das.

    I hadn't planned to spend much time with a Drukhari video. However - your video was so convincing, well structured, and it has so many useful tips that I have stuck with it and will now watch it in its entirety. And that's despite knowing the Drukhari as a race quite well, I've at least played through their history.
    Many thanks for your efforts and all the best.

    Since Drukhari cities grow so tall later in the game, I don't think paying so much for the thrird city is worth it.
    I usually only build two and stick with that.

    I agree with you that ore is the number one recourse i struggle with but i would say my second would be energy because of all of my vehicles i use to transport my units mixed with the upkeep of my buildings. Mid to late game i usually dont struggle with influence and never really build towards it

    I've been playing them, they're a neat time with a fitting storyline, though I'm waiting for the Leagues of Votann next year. Dang glad the game's still getting content though.

    Sure feels like a win more faction. I always had a problem with eldar, how they cannot expand after the initial land grab, which means they EITHER curb stomp everyone (rarely happens), or donate huge amounts of free real estate to their neighbors, and become a complete pushover. They also got a bit oppressive on higher difficulties, because they could go from not even within detection range, to wiping multiple squads, in a single turn, due to their movement being much larger than vision distance.
    Now, there are dark Eldar. Basically, all the problems of the original Eldar, but they ALSO get far more powerful level ups. And their cities scale harder with map control. So all the problems of the eldar, and new problems.

    • @eduardodiaz9942
      @eduardodiaz9942 Год назад

      If you build tall, you don't need more than 2 or 3 cities with the Eldar, dark or other wise

  • @dnaseb9214

    Dark eldar and craftworld eldar are actually not enemies. Unlike dark elves and high elves, the eldar have no hatred for one another, they often help each other. They just disagree on each others way of doing things so they try to stay away from one another.
    I often run out of food, since all the infantry and population eats it.
    I think the witches are a better second option for tier 1, instead of getting the heroes building.

      Unless something has been seriously retconned by GW recently dark eldar and craftworld eldar are absolutely enemies in the lore with a lot of fighting each other

      They are not, they even fight along side one another under the banner of Innari.
      Also they have no reason to hate each other. Neither did anything to the other for them to have hatred for each other.
      They dont like or agree with each other, but they still like each other more then dark eldar like the harlequins. The harlequins and darkeldar do hate each other. But not the craftworld eldar and dark eldar.

    • @Insaneforrain
      @Insaneforrain 11 месяцев назад +3

      @@dnaseb9214wrong about the harlequins they're the dark cities most common visitor, they always perform their show of the fall at commoragh and even craftowld travel to the to see it

    • @boomboomf2268

      @@Insaneforrain Harlequins are a bit of an exception, but yeh uh idk guys when I was playing 40k less than two years ago the dark eldar and regular friggin *hated* each other. Regular eldar blamed the Dark Eldar (rightfully btw) for the Fall, and Dark Eldar see the craftworld and Exodite as weak.
      Lots of fighting each other, never mind shit like the Dark Eldar keeping eldar as slaves and prizing torturing them. Yeh *sometimes* they worked together but it was the exception rather than the rule.
      So either GW has done a hell of a major retcon or idk folks. They certainly ain't buddybuddy pals
      Heck, in Owlcat's just come out RogueTrader game the Dark Eldar are literally attacking their Craftworld Kin and the Eldar character considers the Dark Eldar to be utter monsters.

    I wish I could enjoy turn-based games, 4x and civ style games....there's so much stuff going on and they seem cool on the surface, but in 20 years I've been totally unable to break into the genre and actually enjoy any of them in the slightest .... particularly gutted about 4X space sims like X, which look amazing, but then in practice its like....meh.....

      The basic game is quite barebones, you really need to get the complete edition to get the most of it
