Haha! Asian mom is like Jamaican mom packing to go home! My mom packs and thinks like this mom and she packs her food and drinks in her hand bag like nobody’s business! Her handbag is the size of hand luggage and she takes another hand luggage case into the plane with her. I don’t know how she gets away with it over and over, but this mom character is so much like my mom❤❤

My wife is Indonesian, and I've seen her friends pack local food in their luggage when they travel abroad. Ironically, she now packs American food when we take long trips to Indonesia!

My southern grandmother was a bit like auntie when we'd go to hotels. She's bring her own sheets, instant coffee, condensed milk, baby crock pot, and cooler. She'd say eating out on vacation was wasteful when you can make your own food. Now as an adult who goes to various nerd conventions I pretty much do the same thing. Don't tell my Nanna she's right tho.
