If she hadn't done that, Leslie would probably be alive today. The area she was picked up by Bernardo was and is a beautiful area in Burlington. Nothing happened there, except this. What an awful time for all Canadians. We all mourned those girls. RIP.

I am from Houston and I can tell you the Galveston Texas city Houston area has some of the craziest serial killers and stories or unsolved murders I've heard. Just wild how some people can do certain things and get away with it for so damn long or not at all.
Another fantastic video by a Master of the genre. I thought that the UK judicial system was a mess, but the first two cases are shocking. In the first case, to think that a killer gets years off his sentence because of a "mistake" by the trial judge is beyond belief. In the second case, (miscarriage of justice aside) the sentences of the two murderers must be devastating for the families of the victims. "Paul" should have gone to the electric chair IMO, (or a whole life tariff) and "Carla" should have been given a whole life tariff. To have been heavily involved in three kidnapping/murders, and to facilitate the murders has to be serious enough to warrant far, far longer than a paltry 12 year, irrespective of any deal she struck with the prosecution. To think that she's married with three kids after being involved in such brutal (sexually motivated) killings is, again, beyond belief, and must be agonising for the families of the victims. Nauseating.

The Karla Homolka plea is called "The deal with the devil" due to how light she got off with all her crimes.
I am from Houston and I can tell you the Galveston Texas city Houston area has some of the craziest serial killers and stories or unsolved murders I've heard. Just wild how some people can do certain things and get away with it for so damn long or not at all.

I thought that the UK judicial system was a mess, but the first two cases are shocking.
In the first case, to think that a killer gets years off his sentence because of a "mistake" by the trial judge is beyond belief.
In the second case, (miscarriage of justice aside) the sentences of the two murderers must be devastating for the families of the victims.
"Paul" should have gone to the electric chair IMO, (or a whole life tariff) and "Carla" should have been given a whole life tariff.
To have been heavily involved in three kidnapping/murders, and to facilitate the murders has to be serious enough to warrant far, far longer than a paltry 12 year, irrespective of any deal she struck with the prosecution.
To think that she's married with three kids after being involved in such brutal (sexually motivated) killings is, again, beyond belief, and must be agonising for the families of the victims.
Nauseating.

Yeah absolutely insane that Robert served more time than Karla Homolka who was a full participant in multiple gruesome murders. From what I remember she was offered a plea deal before they found the recordings. If only the authorities could have "lost" that paperwork and said deal's off.
I've become so obsessed with crime stories over the last month and its like 97% because i found this channel.
That second story is insane..Poor Tammy,didn't do anything(same goes with all the other victims)..And to have her sister be ok with it and go through it is horrifyingly sick..both Karla and Chris are completely evil(along with the others on this list)..

I am the same age as Annie B. I am also from Tacoma. That case haunted my childhood. It wasn't far from where I lived. There are still posters here and there. We've always been sure Ted did it.
Christine Ransom he did say that there were some murders which were "too close to home" that he would never talk about and he is the most likely suspect. But at this stage, we'll never know.
My mom worked at the Ann arbor police department typing up dictated reports by cops. She wrote coral's name so many times and eventually left the department because it made her paranoid. I remember her freaking out when they captured him, she was so relieved he was off the streets.
