110% agree with you! Somehow all the best known fusion tabla musicians have disappeared over the years... Talvin Singh, Karsh Kale, Nitin Sawhney :( I'm trying to revive the tabla fusion scene once again.

@@_BirdOfGoodOmen as far as I have seen and heard, nothing of this calibre has been done since. This is pure nectar. Sadly Sultana Khan, in my mind the Sultan of Strings, an angelic genius passed away. I believe this whole gig was Bill Laswell's conception. Then all the doors and windows of perception opened up and the Cosmos danced all night and all day long. Ry cooder has done a good album with VM Bhatt but it doesn't set fire to everything and every heart as this does. Listening to this tonight still raises the energy to the power of infinity! Ride the wave my friend, we are here for the dance. May light enter the skulls of the 8 billion idiots we are!
