if you get a microsoft account instead of pin code and it wont work it is usually because people set microsoft account in oobe and it encrypts the drive with that microsoft password. Then they set up a login pin so it never even asks for ms account password in login.... well fast forward year and ms wants you to change your ms account password like it does sometimes... fast forward another year or 2 and suddenly for some reason you get asked ms account password not the login pin you always used... and no matter what you try, it will not accept. this is because the encryption password will not change even if you change your ms account password. You need to use that old ms account password not the current one you now have in that account.. we found this the hard way :D

      Are you talking about bitlocker?
Your ms password is not used to encrypt your drive. It is the bitlocker key. This is stored on your ms online account.

nice tutorial! after its done Do we still need to manually delete the utilman.exe(aka actually cmd.exe) and rename the renamed original utilman.exe back?
