Thanks because of your video I did my 16 Yukon with same engine. Worked great I had to use SeaFoam because of the holiday weekend. Seemed to work ok. A check engine light came on so I cleared and it did not return. It blew out a lot of smoke. I will definitely start doing this every oil change

Is it possible to insert the foam through the fuel into the spark plug opening and let the foam melt the contaminated fuel with the engine off for a few hours, let the foam melt the degraded fuel when the engine is cold

Ok my question is how you engine still going like that bro? I took mine off from a Mazda CX-5 and it wasn't even started because Mass airflow sensor wasn't reading air data.

It'll get burn up, the catalytic converter is extremely hot
You can run a bottle of cataclean and it will clean out your cats too.
