It is so great seeing this video I was just showing my Son this video. Even tho this is years after I attended the school I was one of the first drill teams members for the AFJROTC program there. When Chief Jay was the NCO instructor back in the day. I remember when we started the program about 14 of us climbed into Billy Rios geo metro to get to practice in the morning before the sun was even thinking to come up.. I am just so proud to see them still getting the program going and keeping tradition going.
To any old WA-931 cadets. This is Tony Dobosiewicz (drill team commander) i am sad to say but our drill team is no longer this good and not this size. We showed Col Roberts this video and we used it to teach out drill team what to do. The video is a huge help. But now we have 10 people on the team on average. We only placed at 1 drill meet and didnt have a drill team for 2 others. It is a shame to see the unit that once won Nationals fail to even have a full drill team. And update as of 2020... Col Roberts is retiring and we are all sad at that statement. Our top 7 isnt even full. We had about 4 people on the top 7. There are 115 cadets in the unit as of 2019- 2020 and only about 12 participate in drill, color guard and so on. The drill team consisted of 1 junior, 2 sophomores and the rest freshman. The leadership consisted of a senior group commander, sophomore vice (me) and senior XO, along with a sophomore support. Next year (2020-2021) we will be left without a proper chain of command. Mostly run by a junior and sophomores. There is also no more armed drill. And since the leaving of Col Roberts the chances of drill continuing are slim. We have about 10 cadets with passion in the program left. If you have any questions about WA-931today i will gladly answer. But this is meant for any of the older cadets who are wondering what happened to there unit.
You guys are outstanding. Wish my group could have been this good! Afjrotc a d the people in it changed my life so much, I really don't know where I would be without it. It was the best experience of my life. I had 4 years of afjrotc. (ga-031)

You can get ranked up to a Officer. In my High School freshmans can't be an Officer, the only way to become an Officer is by having a leader ship position like Drill Commander, Color Guard Commander, Honor Guard Commander, Group Commander etc.

@anthonyairborne wowowowo depends on the team Cooper af-jrotc tx-794 is amazing look up our armed exhibition (look under blake duqette-cooper high school) its the second half of our routeen but its still amazing(the first half is better)
AFJROTC E-4 Great drill team. Just fabulous. Our drill team is great, but not this good. We're better at armed rather than unarmed and do a lot of rifle spinning and E2C/PT.
FAKE! These are not students they are obviously RINGERS brought in from McChord Field (less than 3 miles away) . Much too good to be students ,NOT POSSIBLE! Just kidding ,these are some great kids ,I see them every day when they walk past the town center! YOU GUYS ROCK!
The ohio91st exhibitions aren't ,ade up with a bunch of stomps like this. But for some reaso that's what gets all the judges attention whenever we go to drill comps. Stomping and clapping don't seem that attractive to be honest.
