I think the system needs a shout out… even when Haaland and KDB aren’t at their best, there’s certain systematic things they do that help the team regardless of their output on scoring goals… Haaland’s biggest responsibility system wise is to pin the defense back to allow for the 6 midfielders to dominate the midfield… KDBs responsibility is to find pockets of space and press hard out of position… they do systematic responsibilities and then the team functions towards it’s outcome
First half De Bruyne was quality but he had a really poor 2nd half yet City we’re still unreal
Gundogan and Haaland were very poor. Especially Haaland, he missed 3 sitters tbh.
Bernardo, Rodri, Jack, Stones and Walker were all incredible.

That 1st half performance was by far the greatest by an English team. Miles better than Liverpool's performance 1st half in the FA cup semi last year 2022.
Silva, Gundogan, Rodri, Grealish, and Stones - all fantastic that night and generally not credited enough for their efforts! Even with De Bruyne and Haaland having an off day the rest of the players played so well that it didn't even seem like we were weak in any department! Having a team that plays as a unit vs a team with one or two stars makes the difference in these kind of matches where your best players are having an off day. Hope we get to see this city team play for a while!

You need to get some guests on the show. Hearing the same opinions and the club bias is getting a bit old now. I enjoy the lads but I dont support any of their clubs and they only have a somewhat deep knowledge of what's going on with their own teams and not the rest. Some balance is needed.
